The restaurant was not crowded when we went, and it is beyond my comprehension why not! I started with a lovely glass of Pinot... Grigio and ordered the pizza burger. It was absolutely delicious! The 1/2 pound hamburger had wonderful flavor, the marinarasauce added just the right zing, and the often overlooked bun was excellent. A neat little place across from the waterfront in Morehead City. They have tables and a bar, so you have options. The server was great. The stuffed mushrooms were great but that's all that they had for a gluten free menu besides a salad.
This little joint had a relaxed vibe and our meals were excellent. I love getting local pizza when in a new area and this turned... out to be a great option. We sat outside, our server was attentive, and friendly, AND the pizza was phenomenal. Several uniquespecialty pizzas and a build-your-own option. Overall, not bad. My son got a pizza burger and it was, quote-unquote, ?the best burger? he?s ever eaten. My other son and I... shared a Hawaiian pizza. It was really good except for the crust itself. I?m not a cook so I can?t identify what was wrong, butit tasted bland and dry. What really made me give them 4 stars instead of 3 was the wait staff. They were really friendlydespite there being a run on the restaurant causing a 30-ish minute wait and my kids being clearly in hunger distress. Read more
