My family was camping nearby in Salt Lick at Outpost Campground. What attracted us to Roll Over was that it is pet friendly. Our... basset hound travels with us everywhere, and when we find a restaurant that allows her to eat with us it's a real treat. Theback patio has dog cots, water and bowls for your pup, cute decor, plenty of tables and chairs, and sail shades to help keep youout of the sun. We had a pup cup for our fur girl, Oscar, Cha Chi, Loki, and Beebs. It was our first experience with rolled icecream. You are paying for the experience, so it does seem a little pricey, but more effort goes into a cup of rolled ice creamthan into a cup of scooped ice cream. There is only one size for kids, one for adults, and one for your pup. The ice cream wasmuch harder than I was expecting, but that kept it from melting even though it was blisteringly hot the day we were there. Ourgirl made very short work of her pup cup, but she has a sensitivity to chicken and I'm pretty sure the paw print has chickenbroth in it and she had a little bit of an upset tummy. That was my own fault for not checking ingredients and simply removingthat before she ate. Not a big deal at all, and she wholeheartedly enjoyed her treat. The hoomans also enjoyed their treats.
