I will give it a one star only due to the fact that our waitress was so polite and was doing her best to work at a place that... obviously doesn't know how to hire a cooking staff or other wait staff that are polite. We have frequented Drifters many timeswhen we come to town especially after we kayak down the inlet. We come due to the gluten friendly options and the views. Thisvisit was a catastrophe and we will never patronage this establishment again. With the understanding that short staffed and anew chef in the kitchen our whole entire table of six was served the wrong food over cooked, food, never received food anddrinks from the bar. One of our members had to wait 35 minutes after everyone had their awful food to get their overcookedmeal. That was brought out in a to go container! Every meal ordered was not either GF, vegan or was flat out the wrong order. Wewere not the only table to experience this same debacle and they should be embarrassed. Cool place! They have a nice menu with a variety of items. Docks are available for boats to tie up while eating. Service was... friendly and efficient. I recommend the lakeside outdoor seating -- perfect for a summer lunch! Read more
Been here multiple times and never had great service but the atmosphere and food is good. Went today and they were short... staffed, we didn't mind being patient despite the rude greeting. After an hour and seeing others come in and get seated, I canhonestly say I will never visit again, despite the food. Servers were rude. Read more

We were there on Saturday, July 16th for dinner. There were 4 of us dining. We got the following: cheese pizza, fish fry, ribeye... steak and cesar salad. The cheese pizza looked like it was a totinos frozen pizza and it tasted like the box it came in. Thefish fry is a frozen piece of fish that had no flavor and was so hard I could pick it up with my hand and it remained in 1piece. The ribeye was the only decent thing at the table but when it came out we had to ask where the side was and the serverdidn't even know that it came with a side, but yelled over to another server that was with another table if she knew about theside. But for $32 the ribeye was not worth it. Our server made sure to tell us that he had been out drinking the night beforebut took a shot when he got in and was ready for round 2 that night. Not very professional. If you need a place to eat, driveout to Skaneateles or Auburn there are better places to eat! Read more
