Something wrong. I had a good meal and service but the other 5 with me...so so..bar was hoping but everybody gone early.. unlike... Browns,Keg ,Moxie's and Earl's restaurants. For a Saturday night this place should be going great guns but never got up tospeed. Owners need to figure what needs to change when there is so much completion at this price point. We don't get to come to Streets often as it is a little more pricy but the food is totally worth it. My boyfriend and I always... get the mushroom caps, they are a must. Very creamy and so delicious. Another favorite of mine would be the club sandwich, butthey have lots of delicious options to choose from. Majority of the time service is really good as well. Read more
We were a little hesitant about coming here tonight due to some of the posted reviews. We are glad we did. We started off with... the Stuffed Mushrooms. Wow!! For our Entrées, we had a 10oz New York steak and the Seafood Fettuccine. They were both to ourliking. We finished with the Blackout Torte. Perfect for date night. The drink prices were cheap and came out cold. Our waitresswas polite, friendly and attentive. We are visiting from Alberta and can say this has been our best culinary experience in MooseJaw. Ordered a $44.00 steak. Medium rare. Steak came average of 1/4 thick and well done all throughout. Did even appear to be 12oz.... Never have received such a thin cut meat at a restaurant in my life. When I mentioned it to the waitress in a very polite way.She reply that's sad to hear. Definitely won't recommend a steak there. Brothers 10oz prime rib was twice the size and quitegood. Read more
I will start off with the delivery was very fast and your delivery guy extremely pleasant. A++ for him. How ever the steaks I... was extremely disappointed in. Over cooked Definitely not a med rare and flatter then pancake.. i did not see my value in a10oz steak. the potato was good the deep fried cheese curds wore good. Tryed to call back after we got our food but all Igot was a busy signal. Not very impressed especially at the fact your website advertising everything looked so good. Read more
We came here specifically for steak and was quite underwhelmed by the seasoning. The cooked temperature was perfect though. For... $44, the sides should've been better as well. Mashed potato was alright, but the "seasonal vegetables" was a single piece ofcorn on the cob. The star of the meal, for us, was the boneless dry ribs. Super crunchy and tasty. My wife and I were visiting Moose Jaw and across the road from our hotel was Streets Steakhouse. Coincidentally, I was hungry... for a good steak. After being seated and served our drinks, out of curiosity I decided to check out the reviews for this place.Though mostly favorable, there were a lot of negative reviews, especially on the steak. That made me apprehensive as far as thesteak was concerned, they are costly, but I decided to order the 8oz. Filet anyway. My wife ordered the steak fajitas. Well, Ican tell you mine and my wife's meals were absolutely fantastic! My steak, was a premium cut and done to perfection, medium asrequested. It's not often I can praise a meal like this. I am normally quite particular when it comes to my meals, but this isdefinitely deserved. We had great service and just an awesome overall experience! Read more
We were excited to finally try Streets as we hadn't been yet. When we arrived the parking lot was full so we were anticipating... a great meal to be had. Boy were we disappointed. We were told that wings were half price and schooners of beer were on sale. We decided to order some wings which it appeared all the patrons in the bar were eating. The wings were really good and wewould definitely be back for those. However, our order of the 8oz steak and jambalaya was beyond disappointing. The steak wasordered medium rare but arrived well done. The cut was good but it was over cooked. As my boyfriend is a beef producer he'dlike to have steakhouses know how to cook a steak properly so customers have an enjoyable experience. The sides were sad lookingas the tiny corn on the cob look like it was overcooked and too much seasoning salt with no butter accompanying it. Myjambalaya was over sauced and couldn't taste anything but the spicy sauce. The rice was lumpy and I just ate the sausage,chicken and shrimp after patting all the sauce off of it. The waitress did come by and ask how are meals were when she wasinformed that the steak was over cooked she did offer to have another one cooked for him. He decided to eat what was given tohim as he hates to see food go to waste. I decided to keep quiet as I never like to return food in a restaurant as you neverknow what you'll be getting back. After our meal was done, my boyfriend decided to talk to the waitress about why he wasdisappointed in the cooking of the steak, done in a extremely polite tone and way, he was met with the waitress rolling hereyes, a hostile tone and rude demeanour.
