Went in and ordered a Chicken schwarma combo and the girl asked if I wanted extra meat as the deal of the day was free extra... meat if you also ordered a drink. I figured sure why not as I was ordering a combo anyways. She prepares my schwarma andproceeds to tell me that French fries are not included in ?the deal? Long story short it cost me more money for the free extrameat without fries then if I had actually got what I originally asked for. Chicken in the schwarma was seasoned nicely but driedright out. I really like Prairie Donair. Their food is consistently good..the only thing I haven't liked was the chicken Sharma with the... pickled turnips..it wasn't anything they did it was just personal taste- that wasn't for me. But the maple and Greek andchicken lamb domains are awesome It's always clean when I go there and it smells delicious inside. Read more

Donair is pretty decent. A little light on the meat for my liking, but not the worst I have had. Biggest issue here is the price... gouging. I ordered a Build your own Donair, which includes 'your choice of vegetables and cheeses'. I asked for lots of tomatoand onion, with a few pickles and turnips. They then proceeded to charge me for extra vegetables twice, and even extra cheese,when there was none on the pita (nor did I order any). When I pay for a 'build your own', I expect that it should includewhatever veggies I want (to a limit, of course). This is not the first location of this chain to try this one me. Not impressed.
