I'll make this quick and simple as nobody got time for an autobiographical review ???????? Parking ? - but you can park on the... street or right across this restaurant. If you see an unpaved lot, that is it ???????? Food is 3-4 out of 5 ???????? it's good.But I'm not too crazy about it. Service is excellent ? Vibe check 5 out of 5 ???????? A good date spot ? If you're eating asa group, please consider their pricing first ? If you want to feel fancy without breaking the bank, this place is it!? Overall, 4 out of 5. I'd visit again. We had the short rib, pork chops and the seabass. Short ribs and porkchop were delicious. The seabass needed little more salt,... but the black rice and the tomatoes added flavor. Beautiful experience! Came here with a friend for drinks and food and it was amazing, the staff was very helpful and... HARDWORKERS. A whole wedding they had to attend to but still made everyone feel welcome and was attentive to all , the seatingwas exquisite. We sat at the bar for a few hours. The quality and freshness of the ingredients, the variety of the dishes, the presentation it was all a pleasant surprise! No... need to drive to West Lake for an awesome dinner in an amazing setting. Had the calamari strips and the mushroom flat bread asentree and the Chilean Sea bass as main course. Highly recommended! Read more
My review is mixed. My recommendation for a good experience on M on High Street, ?Make Reservations?. The two times I visited... with reservations, the staff was super accommodating, food was fantastic and great overall experience that was local, upscalemuch needed in Moorpark and it shows. It gets busy, Moorpark is a quiet town where many restaurants close too early or just abelow a subpar dining experience. Making reservations goes a long way when it comes to the customer experience here. It?s a newrestaurant that just boomed in business almost overnight where I can see time to scale up wasn?t an option. Where the disarrayat times can be understanding. If you come with no reservation I recommend just go elsewhere. I thought this time around, I?lljust to be in the back area with no table just to hang out by the bar with a friend. We were not allowed to come in, it was only6:30 PM on a Friday Night. There was large party in front of me where it took forever to get an answer. I Felt like a secondclass citizen at that point as why I was not allowed in the bar area. No solid reason why, just?no. So I Went to Stonehausinstead, after my disappointing experience at M at High Street. Read more
The food was good (had the Roma Baked Salmon with a side salad) What was EXCEPTIONAL was the " Pistachio and White Chocolate... Bread Pudding" (with warm whisky glaze) ???? I am NOT a bread pudding fan, and I prefer desserts that don't have an alcoholtaste to them, but this dessert is DEFINATELY worth trying. The whisky is subtle, and the bread pudding is moist and superdelicious. It will make a bread pudding fan out of you! You have to try it to believe how good it is. ???? They don't allowreservations, so we did have to wait 30 min for a table for 6. The atmosphere is great (inside and out) The price point was alittle bit of a stretch for me personally, but not entirely unreasonable. Read more
