Traveling through on vacation and stopped here for lunch. It is a quaint sandwich shop that has the look and feel of an old time... Subway. Ordering was done at the counter with menu overhead and it was fairly easy. It took about 5 minutes for my order to becalled. I got the spartan sandwich and cup of chili. I started with the chili because it was cold outside. The chili was verygood. Great seasoning and flavor. The sandwich was vey good as well, a little heavy on the mustard sauce though. I visited midafternoon.mid-afternoon.. most places are pretty blah about then. THIS WAS A GREAT VISIT!! The greeting, smiles and... service was outstanding. The afternoon manager was really doing her job of making us feel appreciated. Read more
I just don't know what to say, first what happened to the bread it used to be so hearty and delicious now the last couple times... it's been pale and stick thin? I'm not sure you guys changed recipies or what but it's awful. Also what's with the rude serviceI got my order wrong and an hour late and when I called to give feedback on my order the woman on the phone said "no you'rewrong its only been an hour and a half and we quoted you 30 to 45" that sounds an hour late to me but okay 45 minutes late isstill not okay for a sandwich and soup and I live by mum so? Just all around the food and service is not good and I don'tunderstand what happened but you guys should probably look into making some changes. Read more
Severely disappointed with our Erbert and Gerbert?s experience; if I could give lower than 1 star as a review I would. I had... ordered $130+ of catered sandwiches for our wedding party on my wedding day to be delivered to our venue. 45 minutes afterdelivery was scheduled, the sandwiches still hadn?t arrived. We called the store only to find out that our two large boxes ofcatered sandwiches had been given to someone else by mistake. I find it totally incomprehensible how two boxes of sandwiches,scheduled for delivery, could have been given to a different customer who arrived for pick up. How is it possible that thisindividual had ordered the exact quantity and type of sandwiches? The manager was not helpful, and no solution was offered toremedy the situation, as the bread ?needed to rise? and they were unable to make us any backup sandwiches. They did provide us arefund, but at that point we had a hungry wedding party and had to send the father of the bride to Subway instead. This createda totally unnecessary stressor on my wedding day. Needless to say, I will never be returning to E&G?s for sandwiches movingforward. Read more
I absolutely love this place!! The bread is amazing ???? ???? my favorite is the neuron with that sweet BBQ and the narmer!! I... love the box lunches grab n go !! My husband and I had a terrible experience here. We received all of our sandwiches with 1 yes 1 slice of meat on them. The... biggest part of the sandwich was the pickle. Workers were incompetent, lazy and forgetful. We will never eat here again. Read more
