Decent service, good food and good portions are the reasons I gave this restaurant 3 stars. On the negative side were the drinks... and the atmosphere. One would think that a restaurant named "Tequila" would provide decent margaritas. This is not the case. Mywife ordered one on the rocks and I order frozen with salt. Neither were very good, lacking alcohol and terribly tasting mix. Mywife's had very little ice and tasted watery. The interior was rundown and dated, with very little "Mexican" atmosphere. Arrived by 5:45 in the afternoon bartender/waiter came out to get our order within 10 minutes and then it took them 45 minutes... to bring our drinks out, and then within 15 minutes of getting drinks the food arrived. Food was warm and good and drinks werenice but service Is extremely slow. Restaurant was half full with full staff. So if you have time to wait around I recommend aplace but I will not come back again!! Read more

The reviews for their service was not good but we stopped anyway. They were we're right on top of everything. Seating, Orders,... Prep time, Refills . The pulled chicken quesadilla was delicious and had a wonderful flavor. The burrito was smothered withcheese and beautifully decorated on top with lettuce and fresh chopped tomatoes. We have been back twice Since that 1st stop.The whole place needs a face lift and updated... But it is clean and and taken good care of. We will be stopping there again. Read more

Went there for my lunch break, which is only an hr. Had to wait for a drink for 15 minutes after going and asking for it myself.... Then had to wait another 30 minutes for food and by this time my break was over. So I spent my hour lunch break sitting andwaiting in a restaurant that had 2 tables with customers. So I?m back at work hungry and another 4 hrs to go. Terrible serviceand I will never and I mean never patronize this business again. So if you?re on a time limit, DO NOT eat here. Read more

Bonuses: Nice location and the patio is pretty. It's covered (big bonus!), dog friendly, and lit with those pretty string... lights. Bummer: We went a few times and ordered margaritas with our meals. They were very light on the alcohol each time. Likenothing. Everyone that ordered them thought for sure they were virgins. Our last visit we finally gave up and ordered bottledbeer. Let?s start with the veggie chimichanga. We ordered no beans and wanted to add rice. Instead they kept the beans and added to... add no rice. The meal doesn?t even come with rice?. Next I ordered Flour tortillas for my tacos and a side of rice which theyput on the order. However, I received cold corn tortillas. In advance I looked at the menu online and already knew what I wanted when I was seated. I was promptly seated and in less than... 5 minutes a waiter stopped by with salsa and chips. When he brought me my drink I told him I was not going to each the chips andasked him to take them away. I ordered the Low Carb Chicken Fajitas with salsa and a side of sour cream...no rice, no beans, notortillas....just chicken, veggies and cheese. It was hot and was so tasty. Delish! Read more

Update 9/12/2021: our service was still good and the food was good, however; there was some uncomfortable arguing going on... between people connected with the restaurant which made eating unpleasant.
