This is truly the kind of small town gem a traveler dreams of. They had a well stocked menu full of homestyle favorites as well... as a few daring but delicious finds. I came in with tempered expectations and left in complete awe of the meal I ate. I orderedthe Prime Rib dinner special. It was easily one of the best cooked pieces of red meat I've ever had. The sides were fantasticand the appetizers were exceptional too. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms to start and I was completely mystified at theirsavory perfectly roasted taste. Great place to grab a burger and beer after living off the grid eating granola and water during my packaging trip at George... Washington National forest. Will stop again if i am ever visiting any of the local trails. Read more
