Lovely, friendly workers, but chicken fried chicken was cold and tasted like it had been there for days. The gravy was very... bland and the corn was a combination of fresh and yesterday's corn. I did love the sweet potato tots and always love theirrolls!! I prefer the SW OKC location, but I will give this one another chance next month. Read more
A rude awakening. I last visited Grandy's in the early 90s. So when driving back home I saw the Grandy's sign and was looking... forward to a scrumptious breakfast like I used to have! What a Shock! I felt I have entered a Third World run down cafeteria.Gone was the buffet and the fresh out butter rolls. The place was almost empty with a few old timers that I felt were longingfor the old Grandy's. When I asked for breakfast the attendant told me in business to rude tone: No breakfast it's lunch timenow! I wish for the sake of good old memories management will close this chain! Will not return! Buns were great y'all. But this new vegetarian wasn't happy to hear they've discontinued the baked beans! I liked the mashed... potatoes, but my spouse didn't. His 2 piece white chicken was "alright" I didn't enjoy the okra, something didn't taste right.We tried the new funnel sticks which were nicely flavored but way too greasy to finish. My spouse had a new side, sweet potatopuffs, now those he enjoyed. I cant eat sweet potatoes, my taste buds think they're sweeter than saccharin. I had a great experience here at Grandy?s! Chicken fried steak meal was delicious - everything was nice and fresh. Our server... Karen was so nice and accommodating my custom order when most places get angry and annoyed with that. They were fast as well! Read more
This place is probably one of the worst fast food experiences I have ever had. Let me just start with, I understand they're... short handed, and I understand not all of their food items are readily made. I wanted good, fresh fried chicken, and was toldI'd have a 20 minutes wait. No problem. I had nowhere to be, and I was patient enough for fresh chicken. My 20 minute waitturned into a 45 minute wait because of no communication, my chicken went to somebody else. I didn't throw a fit, I didn'tcomplain, but nobody did anything to acknowledge that my wait was far beyond what it should have been. It felt like most otherfast food places. Minimally paid employees that don't give a **** about their jobs. That's exactly how my food tasted. My 2sides seemed like they'd sat on a warmer for several hours and my rolls were sub-par at best. Pay your employees more? Maybethey'll be happier? Maybe they'll actually care about the quality of what they're doing? Will absolutely not return - Neveragain. Read more
My mother purchased fried chicken. $20.00 8 piece 2 sides . It was absouestly ridiculous what they sent Home with her. Chicken... small over fryed Dried out. Absouestly disgusting.
