Great food, and I love the sweet mint tea. I highly recommend the turkey melt. I'm glad there's a purple onion here now, but... they seriously need some help hired. I think there were only two people on staff when we came by and it took quite some time forus to get our food. Food was hot and good though, so no real complaints. They were playing Frank Sinatra in the lobby, which isan interesting choice. Read more
The Purple Onion in Moody, Alabama was beyond expectations. We have never eaten here and didn?t know what to expect. Cannot... understand a review any lower than 5 stars. The only thing we could think of to change would be Earth friendly packaging, that?sit! Next, love the idea of a restaurant with a drive-through. No, this is not fast food this is restaurant quality meals! Themenu was good with healthy options. We will definitely come by Moody to go to the Purple Onion again! The service was fine... but chicken wings should be taken off the menu asap! They are terrible and I paid 14 dollars for bone-in... wings. That were below average. This is the most odd way I have ever seen anyone open a new business. It?s like they know they are closing soon. Very confusing.... I hope they stay open! To the owners - how about some effort! I know it is hard to get motivated when not making money but noeffort only snowballs into a worse result. Get your employees motivated. Make the place look open.
