Delicious New Mexican food with a nice selection (and just as good) for your friends (or family) who just really want... "American." I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food or its various forms (Tex-Mex, New Mexican, etc), but my family LOVES it. So, LaCasa Fiesta was fantastic compromise. I had the BBQ pork sandwich and fries while everyone else had tacos, chimichangas, andother Mexican fare. What we had in common was thoroughly enjoying the food! Quick shout out to a few other stellar elements:clean facility (even the restrooms), sat a party of 9 within 10 min at 5:30, knowledgeable and friendly and attentive waitstaff, comfortable dining area, timely food service. I'll definitely be coming back here the next time I'm in Monument, andmaybe I'll even branch out a little from my usual food choices to try some of the dishes my family raved over! Read more
I went here with my parents while I was visiting them in Colorado Springs. They were very considerate in finding a easy seat... for my elderly father who is using a walker. The service was great, the food and drinks were even better. We sat on thepatio and the atmosphere was very good. Our server was super friendly and outgoing. Read more
My wife and I ordered some chicken burritos as takeout. Upon opening them, the burritos looked to be about half the size they... normally are for dine-in but we decided it is what it is. Then we cut into them and they were LITERALLY a chicken breast wrappedin a tortilla with sauce on top. Nothing else was in the burrito. Just a piece of chicken. No beans, no sauce, no lettuce,nothing else. The chicken shredded fairly easily but was chewy and barely seasoned. Basically something we've made in ourcrockpot many times before. The pics I included were after I added the guacamole before I opened it and the sour cream after Iopened it. Again, there was just a Crock-Pot piece of chicken in a tortilla with sauce on it. 1. We had to park in the street. 2. We were sat right away on the patio. 3. Food was alright. We are from Texas and know what... salsa tastes like. They serve 2 kinds of salsa. One is basically ketchup and would not be served in Texas (or not anyTex-Mex/Mexican restaurants Ive been to). The other salsa was good...mild but good. 4. Server was fantastic. There were 3 of us but only one good plate of food. The chicken taco had no taste. Chile verde wasnt good. Atleast the carne... asada was cooked well. The margaritas were nothing to brag about. We have all had so much better and thought it would be goodbecause of reviews. Obviously that was years ago, on top of the kind of customers they have that say the food is actually good.It's not. La Casa Fiesta has always been one of our favorite restaurants, but to-go orders is where they flop. Our chips are ALWAYS broken... and the salsa is never full. Seems like we get robbed. Read more
Best chimichanga I?ve ever had! STUFFED with meat and the verde sauce (small upcharge) is to DIE for! Emily was our server and... she was lovely? very pleasant and accommodating with our requests. At first my GPS took me up one block and on the south side of the main street, restaurant is actually on the north. Once I find... the place we sat in the window. It was really nice until the sun went down and then it got pretty cold. So if you plan to stayawhile after dark, try to get a table by the fire. I was really happy to see they had salsa with no cilantro! Also the saladbowl was delicious, and I don't usually like those. The waitress was friendly and the perfect amount of attentive.
