The chef is the star of this restaurant! Her food is comfort, flavorful, and elevated all at the same time. She brings her cajun... flare to the menu in the most creative ways. The daily specials are always the way to go, and her shrimp and grits, etouffee,seafood and steak specials are worth the visit. She is friendly and will happily accommodate any allergy. Our little town isvery lucky to have such an amazing chef! If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and get some of her outstanding food! Read more

Such a BEAUTIFUL place for a meal. We were in Montrose for the night and was looking for a nice, quite place to have dinner. We... came across this place online. Backs up to the 18th green on an amazing golf course with outstanding views of the mountains andvalley. Service was top notch and everything on the menu I wanted for dinner ???? We were visiting and what a surprise just down the street at the golf course. The view on the patio was amazing the duck gnocchi... and the fettuccine were some of the best we've ever had. You have to go to this place. Read more

Best meal on the Western Slope - better than Telluride! This is my eighth meal here. Montrose is mostly thought of as the... bedroom community that feeds the high-end resort of Telluride, located about an hour away. Telluride has many very goodrestaurants. However, Montrose has one exceptional restaurant which makes it worth the detour. Remington?s at the Bridges doeshave ? the standards ? to keep grandma and grandpa happy but the chef is a highly trained professional who did stints in KyotoJapan and also in Sicily. Therefore, the menu features some interesting creative dishes. For example two feature duck includingthe French classic salad ? friseé aux lardons?. The tuna was exceptional: sushi grade and lightly seared. The accompanyingsauces were spectacular and bright. All dishes are similar in that they have fantastically sourced products ( fish arrivesfresh daily ) executed perfectly by his team. The prices for the meal are half of what you would pay anywhere else. Inaddition, you can?t beat the view of the beautiful San Juan range of the Rocky Mountains and of the beautiful desert slopingtowards Utah. Remington's Restaurant was spectacular ... enjoyed one of the best lunches we've had in a very long time (ordered a burger and a... french dip...and both were absolutely excellent).
