The only positive thing we had to say after our first time dining at Gus & Andy?s was we were happy they restored the façade... close to it?s original appearance. - the interior felt sterile and slightly dated - fast food style ordering with sit downprices - the food?was not worth the high prices! My pork belly grill cheese sandwich was very short on cheese and my family?smeals were not much better. - finally, the customer service was terrible aside from the person that took our order. We havebeen loyal patrons to the shops and restaurants in Montrose for over 20yrs and shop/restaurant this will be the first one wewill never return too. Read more

Had a great food and service A few days ago with some friends. Had the tri-tip and Ahi tuna sandwich, both of which I would rate... a 4/5. I think both sandwiches needed a sauce that could take them over the edge and make them truly superior. Service wasspectacular as the staff was constantly asking if they could bring anything else or check in on us to see how we were doing. Some of the best service I?ve seen in a long time which is great considering that there?s a lot of service shortage across thenation. 3.5 rating, but I'll round up. The wife and I split a cheese burger($9) and the fish n chips basket ($13). The food arrived to... the table hot and overall was okay. The burger patty had an interesting taste to it, maybe the seasoning used. It wasn'treally off putting, but an unexpected taste. Fish was fine, not great. I didn't care for their tarter sauce. I enjoyed thehot fries, but could tell they wouldn't be good cold. Given the cost of current food prices, I didn't feel the cost of ourmeal was out of line. Read more

Went to grab a bite and a drink after work the other day and was very impressed! The staff was very kind, welcoming, and social.... The drinks were solid, and the food was exceptional! Andrew told me how the breakfast burritos there couldn't be beat, so I tookhim up on that the following morning. The crew and I loved them, and unanimously decided Gus & Andy's is going to be our newbreakfast burrito spot! Would definitely recommend Gus & Andy 's to anyone who wants great food and drinks. Finally got to try this place after much anticipation. I know it?s had mixed reviews, but please realize that the restaurant... businesses have taken a huge hit during the pandemic. Starting anew can have its rough patches. Either way, I liked the layoutand enjoyed the food. We tried a couple different sandwiches and they were both very good. I also had a coffee and tried theiced tea. I?m a big fan of the unsweetened iced tea. I want to try other things on the menu, but it?ll be hard to ignore the dipsandwich. Read more

The food is off the charts! I?ll have to say the breakfast burrito & the tri tip sandwich are some of my favorites. The... chocolate dessert is just crazy good. Behind the bar is lots of friendly faces and we have specialty drinks with a great choiceof draft beers by the pint or pitcher. There is also an excellent selection of liquors to satisfy everyone?s needs. Read more

Gus and Andy?s is a great new restaurant and bar with a fresh, casual vibe in Montrose. The food is delicious and the service is... phenomenal. The menu ranges from tri-tip and razorback pork belly sandwiches to breakfast burritos and burgers. And their drinkmenu covers everything under the sun from cocktails to beer. If you?re looking for a fun, easy place to grab a bite to eat andhave a drink, look no further than Gus and Andy?s. Highly recommend! Read more

Long awaited Gus & Andy's truly disappoints. There's a lot that can go wrong during the hectic early days of a new restaurant,... and all will be forgiven when the food arrives. Unfortunately for the highly anticipated Gus & Andy's, the very mediocre andvery overpriced food that arrived just can't be forgiven. As my teenage son might say, "it was extremely mid." Which is a greatshame, because the work put into restoring this historic location had shown a lot of promise; the place had potential. I wantedto like it. So do many locals who hopefully arrived only to find Gus & Andy's closed early after running out ofingredients. As for my meal the G&A burger I got was give or take "Jack in the Box" quality but for $12, just the burger withno sides. They were out of fries, onion rings and zucchini, so in desperation we ordered grilled veggies - mostly bell pepperand mushrooms, also mostly raw, not grilled. Sit-down pricing, but you'll order at the counter and get fast-food quality. Theonly saving grace might be the hip looking adjoining bar; they were closed when we stopped by to try, so it might just berestaurant hours. In any case, they'll need to step it up and make some changes, or G&A is destined to be a short livedexperiment. Curious locals who waited a long time are sure to provide an early boom to the business, but without some seriouschanges, there won't be many repeat visitors. Read more
