Had an absolute litty night with my coworkers after our shift down the road. I came all the way from Griffintown and did not... even regret it. I met so many amazing people there too. Our experience in this place is the highlight of our trip! Had so many shots with friends and the bill was surprisingly cheap.... It was even as if we rented the whole place as we were the only customers left and we were literally dancing on the floor. Wepartied with the waiters (Steve and Meghan) and the manager (Claire). They took shots with us and literally made our wholeexperience as lit and as fun as possible. Will definitely be back here again before we leave Montreal and for when we come back!???????????? Update: Promised I?d come back and give 5 stars when they earned it! Went back to Typhoon in September and had a great... experience. Was sitting inside this time and staff was kind and were okay with us sticking around around closing time. Reallyhappy I went back another time! ?? From July 2021: There are many things I enjoy about Typhoon including their deliciousburgers and general ambiance. However, what seems to be lacking at times is worthwhile customer service. I recognize that theyare understaffed (based on signs for hiring on the door) so I am aware that some of the more glaring issues with my latest visit(including unreasonably long wait times and sometimes inattentive wait staff) may be simply rectified by having more staff. Iappreciated how they adhered to COVID rules which made me feel safe, especially as many places are loosening restrictions beyondwhat the govt is allowing. Read more
Love the vibe in this place. We had nachos that were old and stale. The tomatoes were very sour. It?s an easy fix? It was truly... disappointing. There were 5 of us that all got cocktails which were sub par. Service was friendly and gracious as always. Read more
