I dont know where to start from. Even a 1 start they dont deserve it. I went this morning for breakfast. I placed me order, it... took about 25 mins to get my jardinier omellette with cheese (tthere were only 3 customers and they were served already). That'sfine i was still patient. My order came and my bread wasnt there. So i waited 10 mins for the bread. So i decided to starteating by the time as it would get cold. To put the first bite in my mouth i found ham in my omellette?!?!??! I told thewaiter 1- its a vegetarien omellette not suppose to have ham 2- am muslim and it traumatised me!!!! Cause i never had ham porkor whatever Anyways he apologised and said he will get me another jardinier. Another 20 mins of wait my plate came but wasanother omellette( spinach feta i think) and no cheese. I wasted about 50 mins there having only 2 cups of coffee. I gotfrustratred and left. Seriously like i dont know who was the cook in the back but if they dont know there job please getsomeone who will do it better. I went 2 times there and no more!! If I could give zero star, I would gladly do it. I came for a breakfast with my family and my 11 months old baby, we all have... proof of vaccination, but this EXTREMELY RUDE AND IMPOLITE lady in the photo said that she didn't want me there because I don'thave the QR code from Quebec. Funny enough, I've been to several other restaurants in Montreal and Quebec city and showed myvaccines and never had an issue. Because we are clearly not from Canada, she sounded a bit xenophobic and she said to me go backto the restaurant you came from. Never felt so humiliated in my whole life here in Canada. The treatment I had was disgusting,she didn't even care to check my documents. Update: I just checked Quebec Covid guidelines and guess what? I would be allowed toenter since I have proof that I don't live in Quebec. I am adding a screenshot so the "employee" can be more up to date to theprovince's guidelines. Read more

We arrived at this Tutti-Frutti at 10:20 AM. At 10:30 AM we have already been sipping our (very decent) coffee and our orders... had been taken. All the action took place on a terrasse, naturally, and it was full. I'd say 10 people including the two of us.45 minutes later - at 11:15 AM, we've got our food. I ordered two eggs, fries and bacon, and my son - eggs benedict. My friestasted of stale oil. I got white toasts instead of brown. Had to ask twice to replace. Replace the toasts, not the fries - Idoubt they'd bring me anything better. My son on the other hand, found his food quite adequate. He had no fries though. Oncewe've finished our breakfast at 11:40, we've asked for a single bill and in 15 minutes we've got two separate bills. We'veasked for a single bill again and this time only in 10 minutes, it finally arrived. I've given 10% tip. Now, I always wonder insituations like this - is that something that I've done wrong to call this upon myself? Maybe it's because I am not niceenough? Maybe it's because I don't speak much French, so the first thing I did, when the waitress came to our table, was to askher - if she spoke any English? To which she replied negatively. But then, I know, that I am not the nicest guy around, I havebad teeth, my smile is not pretty, and I have Russian accent. So I delegated the PR to my son. He speaks perfect QuebecoisFrench, he is very nice, positive and has impeccable teeth. So his smiles are rather charming. Still, all that waiting hadhappened. Since we've been in this Tutti-Frutti for almost two hours, we could see, that not everybody is treated the same way.Some people would get served in under 20 minutes - actually I've noticed three ladies who ordered the same thing with us - eggsbenedict and your plane eggs and bacon, and got it 15 minutes after ordering. Well, they were definitely better looking thanyours truly. Somebody, who managed to read this far will probably wonder, so why two stars? Why not one? Read more

I had an excellent morning at Tutti Frutti déjeuner et diner. The server was very inviting and attentive. The atmosphere of the... place was super calming, the restaurant and washrooms were both very clean. Breakfast was fantastic and well-presented. Woulddefinitely return. Read more
