Service and food was good (attentive, fresh ingredients, interesting combinations etc). I just wish there would be more space,... tables felt very crammed together to the extent that when you want to go to the washroom and slide yourself between yourneighbours table you might just knock down their glass of water or something else that?s placed closer to the edge. Incredible experience since walking in the door, once at our table the server greeted us with the best service and continued to... do so until we left. The food is prepared so carefully and with great flavours and techniques. Sommelier helped us choose afantastic wine. When we left, we felt like almost sad with everyone saying goodbye to us as we were all friends. It?s noticeablethat everyone that works there cares about the client and about how the restaurant presents to these clients. It feels thateveryone wants to represent their restaurant as if they were all the owners with the help of a good manager and staff that showshow much they care, transpires to a beautiful experience. It?s very obvious that they are running things right! This is honestlyrefreshing because some restaurants the better they get, the service worsens and this is really not the case here. My wife and I have been coming back to Montreal a few times a year simply because of how vibrant the culinary scene is here in... Montreal, and Tuck shop is easily hands down the best restaurant you need to try when you visit Montreal. The host is amazing,the attention to detail and attentiveness from the servers are exceptional, is the kind of services that will make your day, ateam that cares about their restaurant and it reflects from every aspect of the meal. This is the Og of saint Henri restaurants . There food and service has been consistent for year?s. It?s actually in my top three... favourite restaurants in Montreal especially since the service is so good and the waitress or waiter can help you with whateveryou?re looking for whether it?s a good cocktail or a great appetizer. Arguably one of the best restaurants in town. Fantastic service and menu, even when we went in a pandemic setting. Staff was... pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely professional. Wine pairing was well-executed. I love the fact that the restaurant doeshave a great atmosphere despite its size. I also like the fact that we can have late-night reservations. Read more

Take all my money! My husband and I spent a week in Montreal for our honeymoon. I snagged a table at Tuck Shop by luck - 5pm on... a Friday - and really wasn't sure what to expect. We couldn't see the current menu in advance, and for our Friday nighthoneymoon meal, it felt like a bit of a gamble. Turns out to be the best meal of the entire week. The service was excellent. Thedecor in the restaurant is understated, clean, and leaves room for the dishes to shine. Amazing mushroom starter, the best porkchop of my life, and an incredible halibut dish. Really incredible takes on what you think sounds like a familiar dish -- withso much more in store. Read more
