Stopped in for a quick lunch last week and ordered the gnocchi and pesto with some chicken breast (extra $ for the chicken). The... service was cheery and prompt, and the pasta was excellent. The chicken was a bit on the dry side, but as the pasta wasexcellent, the slightly-dry chicken was restored to my good graces! Oh, but be prepared for expensive prices. Usually bustling with authentic Italian pastas and ???? pizzas. Generally crowded but outdoor seating is worth a wait... Staff... very helpful, moderately priced..overall a good place to dine. Read more
The Sangria Pitchers and the Burrata Appetizer were phenomenal. For dinner we had Pesto Gnocchi. Wow. Great service, even... better food! But then we had the deconstructed Tiramisu. Thank God we split everything or we would not have had room fordessert! Great time. Worth every. Single. Penny! Read more
I love this place! It?s one of my favorites in Place Jacques Cartier. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is nice and has a... great vibe. The menu is rich and tasty. I?ve tried several things on the menu but my favorite is the grilled chicken platter. Itis cooked to perfection! Definitely recommend this place, especially for a cute date. Read more
This restaurant looks nice, and the vibe is really good, but the food is ok! We went in the afternoon, and we were expecting... the food to be so much better than what we had! The price is really high compared to the food quality to be honest! We werereally disappointed! The bruschetta was actually delicious, but the pasta and the pizza was average and way too expensive fornothing... Really disappointed and probably won't go back. Read more

When the restaurant nearby doesn't care about walk in customers, Trattoria Gio do care about you. No seat available outside when... we were there but they have lots of room inside. Food was good, one of pasta dish cooked perfectly but another pasta dish wasovercooked. Wine is ok and I like the most was salad. Cheese was fresh and there is a vegetarian option. Read more
