the person who attends the register box on Wednesdays at noon, is a love. Very friendly and is the type of employee that... everyone should have. Read more

I've been to this Tim's location and so far have not had a problem with the service which yes, has been mainly provided in... English. Sooo, I'm going to write this review to counteract all of the angry ones from the Francophones. I completelyunderstand wanting to protect the French language (I am forcing myself to learn it for work as I moved here from Toronto due tothe cost of living), but complaining on Google about it isn't going to accomplish anything. If you truly want to make acomplaint, then report them to the OQLF and take advantage of Bill 96 - don't use social media to tarnish the reputation of aTim Hortons (a franchise started in Toronto and all in English, mind you) where I'm sure some of the employees are new to Canadaand this is one of the only jobs they are able to get in Quebec because, listen...you guys don't make it easy for them. I dealwith employees leaving at my work because of this. Since they are working with the public here, then yes it is true that theyshould be bilingual or at least taking lessons. It shouldn't be so much of a surprise that we have non-French speakers livinghere and we shouldn't be pushing them out - we should be encouraging them to pick up French. With that said, complaining abouta language issue on Google, rather than the quality of the food, speed of service, etc., is a bit irrelevant and unnecessary.Just choose the correct channel when it comes make a formal complaint, is my point. No need for the hostility. Read more
