We went for the afternoon tea, and it was a very cozy experience. The scones were literally freshly baked! There was a nice tea... selection and tasty treats. I am looking forward to going back for more freshly baked scones or brunch. The service was great. Read more

Wonderful people and wonderful high tea. Very caring. The high tea was excellent - real craftsmanship. It is a tiny place and... has its own charm. If you are looking for a traditional/vintage outlet for your tea, you might want to go somewhere else. Youneed a reservation for high tea. When we are in Montreal again, we will visit them for sure. 10/10 Read more

Disappointed! Not at the restaurant, but at myself for not having done my research enough for an afternoon tea place. The... food that are served for an afternoon tea comes as no surprise for me: typical choice of tea, a couple of scones with clottedcream, jam and marmelade, crustless finger sandwiches and a random assortment of bite-sized sweet pastries. I expected to getthese and I got them. However, I was not expecting a cloth less table top. Perhaps, now is the time to upgrade the breadbasket in which the scones are served, and use linen napkins instead. My expectation of having afternoon tea is having teapoured from silver/fine china tea pots into delicate bone china cups. I was expecting an elegant 3-tiered serving plates, anddazzling silver cutlery over a white linen table top. All these form part of THE meal for a very special occasion. We got noneof that. This is a very small place with tables size not big enough to have an afternoon tea for 4 people. I have to givecredit for service, which was not outstanding, but the average polite and courteous kind. Food was good and fresh, but nothingspectacular as these are just egg & mayo sandwiches with thinly sliced cucumber, regular scones and sweet pastries. There isjust absolutely no way to get this wrong. Tea selection is average and can be bought at the local supermarket, with hotchocolate and caramel milk being just bland. Read more

Honestly a gem of a place! The atmosphere is SO cozy and I love their scones!!! And they offer many dressings, all homemade, to... go with the scones and they're delicious. Don't forget to reserve when you go as they can get quite busy. Read more

I found this place online as we were preparing for a weekend trip to Montreal. We made a reservation 24 hrs ahead of time for... afternoon tea. We took the Metro from downtown and it was a quick ride to Monkland and a short walk from there. The place isvery cozy and inviting. Diverse tea selection and the scones were amazing. This experience was one of the most memorable fromour trip! Read more

A perfect slice of heaven hidden in a sea of wonderful choices. This is an absolute must stop. The food is divine, a great... selection of teas and service that makes it feel like a great friend?s home. As a diabetic I was amazed at how far they?d go tomake a dish healthier (they weren?t bad to start with). Decadent and delicious. Give it a go. You won?t regret it! Read more
