Reviews for Shawarma Habibi in Montréal, QC

It's open late which is great, but it certainly wasn't the tastiest Lebanese food in Montreal. The chicken I had was a bit dry.... The salads were nice and fresh. Just about everyone in my group felt the experience was mediocre, but it's still edible ifyou're out and it's one of the few late night options near you. The dining area itself is a little worn down. I noticed a bunchof cobwebs near the entrance not far from our table while we were eating. It doesn't give patrons a great impression of how wellthe place is maintained. The staff was courteous enough and the service was pretty quick. Read more

Oh my gosh the food here is amazing. And they stay open late. I was so grateful when I walked by here and I was like 1:00 in the... morning and I walked in and got the most amazing food. The customer service here is wonderful too. Read more

Expensive food but completely tasteless. The meat was dry and had no taste at all. Compared to other restaurants with cheaper... options, the taste was really bad. Upon giving feedback, the person at the counter gave a gesture that he isn't understandingwhat we're saying and completely ignored our comments. Sadly, had to throw away $70 worth of food away. Being completely honest, later on found a cheaper and better option with more food and much much better taste elsewhere. Unfortunately, didn't get achance to take any pictures. PS. People calling it good food probably haven't tasted good food. The rice was sticky and verytasteless. Really regretted our decision to eat here. Read more

Good food. Staff DOES NOT SEEM to UNDERSTAND well the English language. I understand that this is in Montreal but for TOURISTS... SAKE please try to at least understand BASIC ENGLISH. MORE PEOPLE WOULD COME TO BUY FOOD if only they knew how to listen well tocustomers/clients. #ASIANLIVESMATTER #ASIANTOURIST #ALLLIVESMATTER #yogadtribe #PINOYINCANADA #FilipinoinCanada #CUSTOMER#client #FOODCULTURE Read more

Amazing staff and the food was great! We got shawarma plates and the ingredients all tasted fresh and flavourful. We loved the... garlic sauce. Only negative is that the chicken wasn?t necessarily traditional shawarma but it was still very good. Read more

The best shawarma platter I?ve ever had. The beef is juicy and steak-like, unlike most places where its more of a shredded meat.... The chicken is also good. Best tabouleh I?ve had, and amazing rice and potatoes as well. Garlic sauce was perfect (and theydidn?t hesitate to give when I asked for extra) and the hummus was also divine. Service is friendly, but was a tad slow giventhat there was no other customers waiting. There were flies all over the wall and a few dead ones on the table, but I?ll takethat for the best shawarma I?ve ever had Read more

Worst shawarama ever. Plain/white rice and chicken cooked on a pan. No flavor, garlic sauce was too watery.. couldn't eat more... than 2 bites. $16 down the drain Read more

I would visit again. I liked the value and quality. Also many salads, not just rice and potatoes on the plate. Tastes great! The... drinks are overpriced. Paid $4.5 for ice tea. I would rather go to a dollar store across the street and buy drinks there, especially if you are a family of 4. Read more
