Reviews for Royal Sous-Marins in Montréal, QC
Good sub been in business for a long time still the same
Royals was a childhood spot for us... I've been going there since 1984!! That's when we moved on Clark street. The sub's where... some of the best... The owners Johnny and Steve (might be only Johnny now) had the best pepperoni there was and that made allthe difference with the Sub's and Pizza! As many said, it isn't the prettiest place, but for me, its part of my childhood!always good!! Read more
Been coming to this place for many many years. It may not be a fancy restaurant but the food is original. Pizza and subs are... great. My uncle used to bring me and now I am bringing my kids. Read more
The menu is huge! I had a hard time picking something. On my first visit I ordered a cheese steak sub. Everything was good... except there wasn't enough cheese. The bread is nice and warm. The salad has a super nice dressing to it. It's a very goodsub. On my second visit I ordered a poutine, kinda disappointed with it. Fries resembled Mcdonalds fries so they weren't reallyappropriate for poutine. Very thin and long. Not that much cheese and the sauce wasn't warm so the cheese stayed hard and madethe whole plate cold. Overall I did enjoy both of my visits, i would definitely come back and try their burgers. My regular choice because it's so close but either way it's dope. Italianne poutine is awesome as well as the regular... one. UPDATE: return after a year and had the Souvlaki Pita and I can tell you with confidence that it's a really good one! deftry it! Read more
Casual, portion are fine, not too expensive. I really need to try their famous subs tho
Fries were frozen, poutine not good. I guess it's a good place when you're heavily drunk. Do not recommend.
Great food. Old diner look. Highly recommended
