I can be forgiven on a small bakery, or a family owned cafe, but on a place like this I was expecting the best and it wasn?t... even close. I been going every Monday to different places and trying always the same, eggs Benedict!!! ???? I have to say thatthis was the worst, luckily the server was amazing, I told her about it and she offered to give me another plate. I ended uphaving a breakfast plate, whit a croissant. I know they can do way better than this. I love the place, the hotel and theservice. I think they need chefs and not just cooks . Read more

I stopped by here to for a drink and small bite while I got some done. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is wonderful.... With my glade one wine i had the corn with emulsified chimichurri, this may have been the best corn on the cob i have every had.I imagine the rest of the menu is also stellar. I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely return. Would recommendthis restaurant if you are in the area! Read more

Terrible. Avoid. Unless the food comes free with your room at the hotel or something, definitely don't come spend money at this... place. The menu is uninspired and confusing. They don't have pricing on the appetizers, only the mains (each of which comeswith an appetizer) which is not explained up front or anywhere on the menu. I had the gall to order two appetizers, and theserver gave me such a judgmental sneer "you KNOW those are both appetizers right?" Yes. Some people can't that much food. Iordered the red pepper soup which was fine and a squash salad which was not what they brought me. They brought me some randomhouse salad instead. My dining companion ordered a burger and it was inedibly overcooked. And before he had even finishedeating it, the server came by and took it away without asking if he'd finished eating (he hadn't). Super weird. Some otherreviews mentioned it seems the servers are untrained and I would agree with that. Read more

Just had lunch here and had an overall terrible experience. I ordered the burger (which costs $40) and the octopus appetizer... (at a premium of $8 over the regular appetizer cost). I also ordered sparkling water First for my drink they brought me mineralwater. Not the most egregious issue but not what I asked for. The octopus appetizer was actually pretty decent. Really the onlything they got right. The burger I received was leather. Insanely dry and overcooked. Just awful. I ate almost none of it. Theservice was rushed and confused despite there being almost nobody else in the restaurant. They never once asked if everythingwas okay and we literally had to yell and flag down the staff to even pay. Once we paid they immediately grabbed my dish (againwith nearly a full burger on it) from under me without asking if I was finished. Just an absolutely embarrassing experience forhow much they are charging for meals here. Read more

The afternoon tea service was quite delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for chatting with friends. Bonus points to the... friendly wait staff who also took great group pictures of us! If you've never had afternoon tea, this is a beautiful place totry it. The decor colors feel retro and chic, and the seating arrangements are honestly very comfortable. The table settingswere pretty and the colorful mix match of the teacups and saucers were a nice touch. The food was really good, and they ask inadvance for any food allergies or restrictions which is quite appreciated. There's a good tea selection to choose from, most ofwhich are included in the price and a few you can pay a little extra for. Although there a 2-hour limit for the sitting, it'splenty of time to enjoy the food and vibe. We were not rushed by the staff at any point which was great. It is downtownMontreal, so if you're taking a car it's easier to find parking in the nearby indoor parking garages. Book a few weeks inadvance to make sure you'll have a spot, and don't worry, it's definitely plenty of food, you won't leave hungry! Overall agreat experience, I'd definitely love to come back here and try a dinner service sometime. Read more

We came for tea and sandwiches but I think there's also a buffet option. This restaurant located in the Fairmount Elizabeth... hotel is beautiful and the service here is great! The staff took the rime ti explain to us how tea time works with very clearinstructions. You are given a timer to time when how infused you want your tea and a full tea pot  of hot water for eachindividual. Strawberry tea: actually very good and fragrant, you can taste the strawberry. Egyptian camomille: Taste just likeany camomille tea to me, is supposed to have hints of green apple but I didn't notice it. Deviled eggs: the yolk was so wellseasonned and so good. But it came with souffled rice that don't look appetizing (reminds me of larvae) and also might've beenold because they were chewy instead of crunchy. Cucumber circles: it's like a salad in 1 bite. Pleasant, but not particularlyspecial depsite the wasabi infused mayo. Scones: surprisingly good and NOT dry. The scones were warm, moist, buttery and pairedso well with the ebglish cream and jam! Fried potato balls: best thing on the rack. The seasonning was flavorful and perfect, the breading was crunchy, the sauce that came with it complimented it so well. I would come back for these!! The sweets:included fudge cake, fruit tarts, cheese cake. Of course each dessert was very sweet which pairs well with the tea. The fruitsof the tart were very fresh. The cheesecake is okay, but the crusy is hard and dry. The chocolate fudge cake is prettygood. Overall, I find the food was good. It may not seem filling at first but it wasn't easy finishing the tea and each snack. It's a very nice experience that I would recommend to go with any person (adult), whether it's friend, family, in-laws, date.Highly recommend this place for your first time at fancy tea! I ordered chicken that was so dry and had no taste. Also, I ordered a burger and I told them to cook it well but they didn't. I... asked for water no one brought water for me. As a 5 start hotel and with the price I paid, the restaurant should give betterservice. It was such a disappointment. Read more

For a high class restaurant in a five star hotel, I'm very very disappointed. The service was lacking, the waiter seems... untrained. The stencils weren't all clean and/or bended. The food, was either bland or okay. The best was the dessert but it'sonly a waffle with red berries. It's hard to miss. Otherwise, nothing was memorable. It only looked good. Also, they chargeextra for the orange juice and coffee per person. This is a shock. The decor and ambiance was however great and this is why Igive it one star. There are better brunches in Montreal for the same price. Read more
