Good food but the portions are either too large or too small for their prices.
Got the vegeburger and fries as well as a poutine for my girlfriend. The vegeburger was good, beyond meat I believe, not sure... tho. Fries were terrible, very soft and oily. Not crispy at all. The poutine was the same. Gravy was not good and the cheesestayed cold so didn't melt at all. Price was way to much for the quality. Would not go again. I don't usually post low reviews,but when you charge premium prices I expect a little more and this wasn't even close to as good as Harveys and much more $$$. Read more
It's the worst restaurant I've ever eaten in my life. The fries are all burned, too soft and just horrible, which means the... poutine was horrible too. Only the cheese was meh. Hotdogs were ok, I mean, how can you do something wrong on hotdogs...Anyways, Lafleur is just HORRIBLE and I recommend no one to eat there. A waste of money and time. Read more

I see a lot of complaints about the price of the food other than hot dogs and fries. My question, why order anything else from... here? Comfort food at its finest. Seems to be outlasting rival La Belle Province as they got too high and mighty. Lafleur isyour classic late night dive, dump, whatever. I was having a bad day dealing with my father's passing, this is where I went tofeel better. Delicious and an iconic Montreal experience. And hey, they hide nothing. Their kitchen is in plain view. Fast service, open until 4am and the best French fries in town! The staff is very friendly and polite at this location, plenty... of room to sit and enjoy your food, clean as well. And very fast service. 69 cent steamed Hot dogs are great and the other itemsare reasonably priced and the staff was also bi-lingual which was very helpful for me as my french is not very good yet! Best greasy spoon for the price!!! Better than going to McDonald's and such!!!
