This restaurant was always my Uncle Bobby's favorite ! I had a wonderful Birthday celebration with my girlfriend Suzanna!! The... food was superb, the best Caesar salad I ever had, and the steak was another level of TENDER and melted in our mouth. OurMargaritas were made by the Chef ,himself, super delicious and we had fun with our waiter Kerwin all night. Chef Dave made French onion soup to die for and even said a personal "GOOD NIGHT" to us. The menu is fun and varied, the staff amazing, I willbe back soon!! Thank you Chef!!!!! Read more

Nice ambiance, friendly service. The tartare was too salty though... The nachos were really good!

Gus is a wonderful food experience. I could not recommend making the time to go and try their take on a surf & turf. The food is... not only DELICIOUS but the service is friendly and professional. I strongly suggest you make a reservation : it is now a popularhot spot and is often full. They also make a delicious bloody Caesar, for those unaware : the Canadian twist on the classicBloody Mary. The ambiance is warm, friendly and more on the casual side. I'd say it's a great place for a first date! You canalso reserve for a large group and have a wonderful experience : the portions are very very generous and made for sharing. Read more

Hands down one of the best Restaurants I've eaten at in a long time. We had a party of ten which was served quickly and... efficiently while still being sociable and helpful. Out of all the dishes that were ordered, the steamed mussels in a creamywhite wine sauce and the beef served on scalloped potatoes in a rich gravy are superb. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, and makes for a great atmosphere for dinner with good friends, family or a special date. But be aware that seating is limited sobe sure to call for reservations or check for availability. An absolutely mind bending selection of wines for such a smallvenue, and a good selection of local beers, ciders and a well stocked bar to match. Kudos to the Chef, Staff and Management foran excellent dinner for all. Read more

I contacted Chez Gus via Facebook to find out if they cater to vegans on the day itself. They said it wouldn't be a problem at... all. So I booked & we went and had a really good time. The waiter was first a bit taken aback by my question, probably a firsttime for him, but went to discuss my options with the chef & was really friendly about it too. The chef proposed a plate ofGreek pasta with eggplant & tomato sauce, simple but good. The portion was huge. We had a green salad to start with, with adelicious dressing & some apple in there. The wine list is huge and there were some nice wines by the glass. It's a really nicelocal place, so warmly recommended. Read more
