We n our last night in Montreal we walked into the Randolph Pub for a beer not know it was a gaming pub. What a lovely... surprise. The owner (or manager) came over and welcomed us. Chatted for a bit and explained how it worked. The staff were superfriendly and guided us both in a game to play and what local beers to try. A perfect way yo spend our last afternoon inMontreal. Very disappointed with their St-Dennis pub. First: We made a reservation for 6, arrived on time and the second floor was EMPTY... but they put us on a table for 4. We complained a few times but it only changed when the waitress gentile noticed that we wereVERY UNCOMFORTABLE playing in 6 on a table for 4 and asked the hostess to change us. Second: We are very used to board gamepubs, and we totally agree with the entry fee, because it gives us access to games AND someone to teach us the rules. We felt wehad no support because there were not enough staff to help us, they were always busy (probably because the owner thinks 2 peopleper floor on a crowded saturday night is enough), and they didn't seem excited at all to the point they didn't knew a lot of therules and tried to simply make us believe that the rule was like that. Not mentioning they seemed sick (sore throat, coughing, running nose...). Last the food is very expensive, comes in very little potions and is doesn't justify the price (tastes veryregular). I'm glad we had a nice waitress that was very gentle all the time. I'd like to think we went there on an atypicalday. But I'm not sure we want to try again, since we don't live in Montreal. Extremly expensive. 8$ entry fee, 15$ minimum all drinks although during events some drinks are 13,99. Just for one drink your... overall receipt will be 25$!!! We only played 1 game because the servers were so slow to attend us and it wasn't even rushhour. They were just hiding in a corner! The concept is nice but the prices were ridiculous! Like what happened to montreal andit's restuarants? Such low quality food for such an expenisve amount of money! The drinks (sangrias) were so sour and acid, like a childs drink, truly horrible. The bars concept is good and the selection of food and cocktails is decent but it?s a ripoff as they charge 8$ cover which... wasn?t even told to us about to begin with. Bought a cocktail, barely played the card game and had to pay 30$ for an hoursitting and talking there Read more

Excellent experience! We had a corporate activity. Enough espace for a group of 12. The host was amazing, always suggesting... games adapted to our group size and keeping the good energy. I'm not into board games but this experience was really nice. Read more

Awesome place. We showed up without a reservation and they were able to accomidate us (8 people). Employees were super nice. ... They have experts help pick out games and explain them beautifully. Honestly it seems crazy how much they know about all thesegames ???? Waiter was awesome also. Made great drink recommendations and the food was pretty decent. 100% would recommendthis place! Read more
