We ordered a half chicken with fries and salad and a small order of poutine. We saw them packaging up our meal, we were charged... the correct amount, but when we brought the food home there was NO POUTINE. They gave us two orders of half chicken! I had beendying to try their poutine after reading all these great reviews but no dice. Should we have double checked our order before wedrove off? Yes. Were there reasons to suspect they would purposely or accidentally mess up our order? Maybe. Are we going toreturn to this restaurant to try again? Never Read more

Don't know why the bad reviews recently but from my most recently trip, I was pleasantly served by friendly staff. I first... ordered the chicken with spicy sauce but then switched back to mild being afraid it would be too spicy for me. The gentlemanover the counter let me try the spicy sauce and was even kind enough to give me both sauces to bring home. He was right, thespicy sauce is much better! Would definitely come back! Excellent food! I always want more :) You can find nice, people-centric employees that will make your experience nicer.

Very happy they opened up in the neighborhood, food was delicious and service was excellent. There was a bit of a wait because... they just opened and there was a lineup but that's understandable since everyone wanted to try it... This was for the firstmonth when they obviously had experienced staff or people who train staff running the place... Then suddenly these people weregone and what would of been a great Portuguese chicken restaurant has turned into a nightmare. Don't judge the entire franchise,They are still excellent but this particular restaurant is a disaster. Do yourself a favour and go to the one on Hochelaga. Read more

I hate to leave bad reviews but after three consecutive bad experiences I had no choice. It's a shame because as a franchise I... love them, but this Piri-Piri longue Pointe is giving the whole franchise a bad name. Here are just two examples of myexperience. I wait in the long line to order two chickens for my family only to be told by the rude staff member that I can'tjust come there and order two chickens to go (apparently that's perposterous) I explained I waited in line and it's on her menu2 family chickens. She tells me what about the other people who wan't to eat chicken? Another time I tried ordering deliverywaited over 1hr when I received the order it was even missing the salad and other items I was told to come and pick it upbecause it would be faster, No apology when I get there, I get home it's still missing the salad, this time they say they willbring it to me (even though at this point I said forget it just refund me the salad) They guy opens my door and just puts thesalad on the floor and leaves without ringing the doorbell. Who does that ? I have rarely seen such an all around failure of arestaurant. But I respect the franchise for now and actually go out of my way to the one on Hochelaga where the competency ofthe staff is at another level... It's a shame they don't even have remorse. Read more

This place is weird and struggles with its own identity, it's not quite fast food it's not really a restaurant. Ordering is also... a confusing mess of the worst of both worlds. When ordering a chicken bowl I was asked by the employee.... "How much chicken doyou want in your bowl?" .... Ummm I don't know?!? A medium amount?!?!? Umm 35 decigrams I guess?!? Seriously what unit ofmeasure for chicken quantity am I even supposed to even use here? I held up my own cupped hands and said "this much chicken Iguess". There is no nutritional information anywhere to help understand the size of what you are about to order and no small,medium large format like every other restaurant on the planet. The portions are way too large, the resulting prices arereflectively too high. 2 bowls for lunch and small potatoes was $60 (no drinks). The employees seemed to have no companypolicies or procedures to follow and didn't seem to know what to charge or what was ordered or even what the other employeeswere even up to. To add to the weird vibe of this place they are advertising like crazy to buy one of these franchises all overthe inside of the store. Buy what?!?!? A confusing broken fast food shop? The food was actually pretty good (not great) but Iwon't be back, there is a lot of bugs to work out of this place at a corporate level to get it to function as a restaurant. Read more

We used to go to Piri Piri on Hochelaga which was outstanding. We were happy to have one nearby. First, they don't have any... pork sandwiches so the menu is not complete. The staff was slow, not welcoming and not following hygiene rules (gloves). Thechicken was very dry and look more like a quail. The quality of the good is not as the original one. We will prefer to go theoriginal one until there is an improvement. They should be encourage to have the full menu and serve food that is not dry andshrunk. There is always too for improvement.
