This restaurant and the food is a divine treat not only for vegans but everyone who enjoys tasty love filled food! If you are a... meat eater, you will probably forget & not miss that there was no meat or animal by-products in this satisfying experience. Igot there late close to closing time, had to wait in line for a restaurant which is a big no way for me but my friend seemeddetermined so I gave in and waited. Let me tell you that I never line up for a restaurant but this time I did & it was worthevery minute waiting! The staff are down to earth and amazing, the decor was bright and cozy and I had the honor of meeting theowner/chef at the end of my meal which was the desert, she was so sweet and now I know why the food was so divinely yummy.Everything that came out of the kitchen looked beautiful and incredibly delicious! My eyes kept lighting up everytime someoneelse's order came out. The waiter was so kind, patient and ready to answer all our questions. THE FOOD!!!!???????????? OMG, notonly was the presentation beautiful but everything looked so delicious and was! There were so many harmonious flavors & texturesin my mouth. Superb sushi and very impressive faux fish. Ordered for delivery and everything arrived nicely packed and intact. I have... allergies to peanuts/nuts so I called before ordering online and they were very considerate and careful. Will for sure beordering again, might be my new favourite vegan sushi spot Read more
I really wanted to like this place, but I've tried the sushi from Ohana twice now and both times, it has been underwhelming.... Granted, my expectations were high since I am a usual customer at Sushi Momo, but unfortunately, Ohana's sushi just doesn'tcompare in my opinion. We ordered the 30-piece assorted plate, which came with 5 different rolls. Most of the rolls were quitebland - it doesn't seem like the vegetables were seasoned very well. The tofu was also not marinated enough (pretty surprisingand disappointing from a vegan sushi place). Everything was presented very nicely, but the flavour just wasn't there. Looks likewe'll be sticking with Momo for future sushi orders. Read more
Excellent sushi, creative flavours, wonderful service and overall, memorable experience :) I brought my family here for my... birthday dinner and was very delighted by the service and food quality. Highly recommend! If you order take out, go for ittoo! My top dishes here: - black angel - geisha - sumo - nuage - major aux fruits (best dessert ever!) No doubt there issomething here that will blow your mind and taste buds. Thank you to the Ohana family for having us and serving us. Superfriendly waitress too. We?ll be coming and ordering again! Was a wonderful experience, the waitress was humble and well informed of the menu. The sushi was delicate and subtle in flavour,... the vegan tuna was to die for! I must say closest rendition of sushi/fish I?ve ever had. If your in Montréal and would like tovisit a place that really cares for the food and customers, come to Ohana! Excellent food, I?ve never had such fancy vegan sushi in my life! We got an assorted platter to share between 2, and were pretty... happy with the variety and portion size. Service was friendly too. If I?d lived in Montreal, I?d have loved to eat my waythrough their menu! Read more
