Always a great selection, great variety of oysters and prices are fair all year round.
Christmas eve dinner ruined by their disorganized ordering system. We called 5 days in advance to place an order for a seafood... platter for pickup on Christmas eve at 11 AM. They told us they would call us back on Dec 23 to give us an order number and forus to pay over the phone. I don't understand why I couldn't pay and be given an order number the moment I ordered.... December23 comes, we still had not received a call by 6 PM. I called to check-in, and they told me they were working on it and wouldcall back later. Why wouldn't they just let us pay and give us an order number at this point? Why would they insist on callingback? No idea. Terrible ordering system that makes no sense. December 24 arrives. We never received a call. I call again thatmorning several times, no one picks up. We never receive a call and we had to scramble to figure out Christmas Eve dinner now.Fortunately, Costco had a lot of seafood at that time and we were able to figure it out. Their terribly disorganized orderingsystem that puts unnecessary work on their employees to call back ALL the customers ruined our Christmas Eve dinner. They reallyneed to implement a better ordering system. Read more
I had a wonderful experience here. A young woman working the floor, I wish I had caught her name, was very helpful and did every... customer experience thing right. I was there to try some new oysters as I am very new to the oyster game and had something inmind but the oysters I was hoping to pick up weren?t available. I asked her if she could give me some pointers, and she took thetime to ask other staff about which ones would be sweet and light for a beginner like me. She was young, had dark hair andglasses, and was very very nice to me. She said her English wasn?t good but I beg to differ, because her English was excellent.It?s hard for me being an immigrant new to Montreal, and I am still learning French, but she made me feel so welcome and helpedme 100% to my needs. I went home with a dozen BEAUTIFUL oysters, and cried when I shucked and ate them because they were thatdelicious. She was an excellent help, was very sweet and kind, and went the extra mile for me. My fav seafood shopping place. Staff at the store are kind and helpful. They also sell variety packs of sea food such as crab ... ???? legs , and many ready to go dishes. One stop shop to buy oysters. We got the ones from Îles-de-la-Madeleine ( strongoceany flavor ) and ones from PEI ( very juicy ). Read more
