I am giving 5 stars because the decor and people are super cool. This is a 5 star place. But they need to work on their... breakfast sausage recipe. Doesn?t taste like breakfast sausage, not a lot of seasoning overall. Sandwich was cool otherwise.Focaccia was good, but almost has the texture of a cake?very springy/crumbly. Came here late September for their soft opening, and liked everything (very promising). The staff was already well trained,... sandwiches (veal schnitzel and végé pâté) really tasty, and the bottomless coffee served deli style was nice while I enjoyedit outside while onlooking the bustling Park avenue scene! Excited about a new sandwich shop on Parc, we tried Nita Tout Garni last week. I would say it was good but not amazing. I found... that the grilled cheese sandwiches were on a bun type of bread that gets kinda hard when grilled. It didn't have that melt inyour mouth mix of cheesiness and crispiness you'd get on a nice thick but light sourdough slice for example. The chicken saladsandwich was yummy and I really liked the bread it was on, but my husband and I both found it very mustardy for chicken saladand would have preferred a more classic deli style done well. We also tried the trout gravlax sandwich which was decent but verysalty and vinegary. I got a creamy coleslaw on the side which I found quite good. The people working there were very nice andthe takeout service was great. Also I had a walnut chocolate chip cookie and it was reeeeally good. I'd go there again just toget that cookie or some of their homemade bread. I thought maybe they're still finding their niche in the Mile End sandwichscene, but based on the other really positive reviews I think maybe the sandwiches just aren't exactly our style. Read more
