You have much more than what you pay for. Compared to similar places, it has great price, decent selection, tasty food menu, and... fantastic staff. A bit of a dive-bar look and feel when empty and of a student bar on Friday-Saturday evening but this is agreat place to go for a quick bite and a drink. Read more
Wildly average. The prices are pretty good for an ok menu. Every time I go here I'm always so hopeful and really let down. Every... time it feels like such an inconvenience for the waiter to even seat me and my friends. Mixed opinion. Food was typical pub fair. Large drink and beer selection, local beers are a little overpriced. Have to say...we... would have had a better experience except for a few things that left a sour taste... Ordered potato skins, menu said there werefour, they delivered three. Order another pint of beer, they delivered a smaller 13oz instead, but I was still charged for thepint. Waitress obviously knew, and I accept that mistakes happen, but she didn?t fix it...I didn?t say anything about it. Also,one of our party was a non-drinker who ordered a couple re-fills of pop as we ate, which were charged for. A little surprised tosee $12 for pop on the bill...we did assume refills were free, which is common, and hadn?t clarified beforehand. A few extrabucks don?t really matter to me and I am not being cheap, but the experience didn?t leave me feeling positive. Was looking forward to a nice evening with drinks and dinner at this former favorite restaurant. However, nobody acknowledged... us when we walked in, despite the restaurant only being at about 1/3 full. Tables were sticky and continued to be sticky evenafter we flagged someone down to wipe them. We had to go get our own drink menus from the bar because servers kept pretending wedidn't exist. Finally got our mediocre, overpriced drinks. Wanted to order the delicious cheese plate I had the last time Ivisited this place but the menu had changed. Nothing interesting anymore. Wouldn't even be able to order if I'd wanted toanyways because the servers were still ignoring is. Finally manged to flag someone down to bring us the bill: $20 for twofairly ordinary bar rail drinks (one gin and tonic, one old fashioned). Didn't bother to finish the drinks. We just paid andleft.
