if you?re west african and looking for authentic african food, this is not the place for you. i ordered the chicken yassa and... the flavours were all over the place. the chicken and sauce were poorly seasoned. the tangy yassa flavour was missing. thechicken however was very tender, but overall not worth your money. The beef au sauce noix de palme was delicious, but really should have included some vegetables considering how much rice was... included. We came here as a party of 2 during an event. They were clearly full and still took us. The service was fantastic, the food was... amazing. They didn't forget about us the whole time. Great find! The ambiance was great, with music loud enough that you have privacy talking within your table but not have to yell.... The food was délicieuse and the owners were lovely! We're told that the fish dish is from the husband's homecoutry of IvoryCoast and the chicken dish is from the wife's Congo. Portion was just enough, the meal was well-balanced. On another note, ifyou're planning on visiting them late at night, maybe give them a call to make sure they're open. We came here the first nightaround 9pm and it was closed though Google said opened till 23:00. The owner said they're still figuring out the reopening aftercovid. Owned by a very sweet couple. Food was amazing. Had the jackfruit salad, jerk chicken and griot. All of them were excellent.... Sauces served were great too. Be ready to wait a bit for the food since everything is made from scratch. Loved it! Read more
