I'm not from MTL, but I was there for my birthday, and WOW it was terrible birthday, worst of my life so far & I wasn't with... most of my friends or family either. In the late afternoon, I realized I needed a cupcake and I needed to blow out a candle.Celebrate a little. I found this place, and walked over. Turns out, you get a free cupcake on your brithday so I didn't have topay. Even better, they have candles for 35 cents. I got a chocolate cake with rainbow sprinkles, and a candle to blow out allfor 35 cents. It's silly, but that was the highlight of a very, very hard day. It didn't negate that, but I have so much lovefor this random shop that let me smile and celebrate so easily amidst an incredibly stressful, exhausting, and unhappy day.Thank you. Read more

BEST chocolate cupcake of my entire life. The icing is so rich and creamy, and the cake moist and delightful. Perfection.

$5 sent straight to the garbage. I ordered a Red Velvet cupcake to enjoy during my break, and was given a fully frozen cupcake.... When I complained about it, I was told: Oh yes, you?ll have to wait at least 20 minutes if you want to eat it. Terrible experience. Definitely never again. Placed a cake request over a week in advance for 25 people and I was quoted a 210$... which I agreed to, thinking you pay for what you get. No details about the size or reason for the price, but fine that was mymistake to trust such an establishment . On the delivery date which was a Saturday am, to my shock I receive an extremely smallcake, barley enough for 10 people (people laughed at the size) . I call the store and get tossed from store to store, (one ofwhich doesn?t even have a functional phone line) finally at 4:30 pm get an answer ?sorry, we have no acting manager on theweekend in any of our stores, so we can?t do anything, and the cake was made by someone the DAY BEFORE, who is not workingtoday?. I was told to call back Monday to speak to the manager, who although respectful simply said ? sorry no partial refunds,but I agree it does sound like a lot for what you got?, then she tells me I?ll speak to my boss again and call you backtomorrow. I wait the next day, still no call ! So when I follow up with her, this time I get ?sorry, absolutely no refund? andwhen I asked how come you didn?t call me to tell me that, although you said you would, her answer was ?I was told by corporatenot to call you?.
