For the appetizer, the creaminess and sweetness of the sauce pairs extremely well with the freshness of the scallop. The... temperature of the steak is cooked spot on and it is very delightful to see a variety of vegetables being presented as thegarnish. I am amazed by the cholate dessert where I can clearly taste the richness of the chocolate. They perfectly balanced thesweetness and chocolate flavor in that dessert. The staff is friendly and they provide quality services. The BYOB is always abig plus. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the quality for the price you pay. Read more

Pretty French restaurant, you can bring your own wine. I?m a bit disappointed about the salad(it?s like just from supermarket)... but main duck was great. Read more

Amazing French restaurant in the heart of Plateau Montreal. BYOW and set menus for a price is what makes Le Pagase unique. Food... is delicious and staff are kind to explain what each plates were made of. Tried other plates from my friends and everything asabsolutely delicious. Can?t wait to come back! Read more

Food is ok. Really nothing crazy about it at all. Presentation is gorgeous though. Is a BYOB/BYOW so food might taste a bit... better with a good wine. But really , as a French cuisine lover , it is ordinary. Desert was a bit better, although maindishes, never mind the entrées, were average or below. The hostess ( girl at the door with reservations) can smile or stay homeif she has a bad day- just a suggestion. Her attitude towards the clients is not professional and I count in here the couple infront of me. Verdict : unless you do not have better options out there ( and there are a few to be honest ) I would notrecommend. Read more

I attended Le Pégase for an event and had an amazing time. It is a very cosy, intimate setting perfect for a romantic dinner.... The waitstaff are attentive and knowledgeable, the chefs are fantastic at what they do and every corse was delived fresh, attemperature and with impeccable timing. The scallop ceviche with green apple or braised beef and goat cheese profiteroles withbeetroot were the stand outs for the night. I would highly recommend. Read more

All we googled was "bring your own wine" in Montréal and what a gem we found in La Pégase. No pretention, no classy dress... code... Come visit this restaurant (in a Montréal appartement) in your laid back attire and your favorite wine, cuz the magicis all in food. 4 courses of absolute flavor bombs that had our jaws dropped at each service! In the pictures you seecauliflower soup, salmon tataki, braised beef and goat cheese profiteroles, duck confit, medallion of bison, crème brûlée andtarte tatin.... We were rolling out of the restaurant with massive smiles. We'll be back as we heard the menu changesconstantly! Read more

I always feel that I am ripping these guys off when I eat there. The portion size and quality of the food is ridonculous for... the price that you pay and it is a BYOB on top of that?! It is a small, cozy space perfect for a romantic night out or intimatedinner among friends. Friendly and accommodating staff that know their menu well! Let's get down to business though and discusssauce..whatever you order you bet you're going to be getting some damn good sauce along with it (I am a girl who likes mysauces, deal with it).
