Fantastic experience the food was great, the drinks were great, and the games were awesome! The Game master and waitress were... extremely kind! Only downside was the board game fee, however didn?t bother us because the game master, who most of the fee goesto, was so nice. Read more
Very nice and happening place . Everyone was so fun and the food was good too. They had a trivia night but we were late for it.... They do have plenty of board games. This is the right place to chill out with your friends. The waitress speak English andbeing non French speaking, we didn't have problem communicating. They did have vegetarian pizza option , which was good. Read more
Cocktails are delicious: me and my 2 other friends ordered three to four of them each!! Can't say anything about the food as we... had already eaten before coming. We came on a Friday around 9PM and had to wait in line for about 15 minutes: we were seated atthe bar at first and then moved to a table when one freed up! We had a great time and would totally come back again. Also, their bathrooms are very clean! Read more
First of all, what does the sign say? Game Salon. I went there with two friends of mine, and we were seated outside. We were... then asked to move tables because a larger group arrived. This is perfectly fine. We went there to play board games and havesome drinks. We didn?t go there to eat. 15 minutes after we were seated, the waitress came to the table. We wanted to get theboard games first and then to order drinks, but she didn?t let us. Okay, whatever. We ordered some drinks. She came back afteranother 10-15 minutes saying that we didn?t order enough and that we needed to order more. There is a cover charge for the boardgames. We already ordered some drinks. What is ?enough?? I saw people drinking beers and playing board games. So why was it anissue for us? I talked to the manager who was nice and admitted that it didn?t make sense, but still didn?t explain how much weneeded to order to be eligible to play board games. Manager said their place is Restaurant first, bar second, game salon third. You should change your sign then. Also said that they?re busy and that they basically don?t wanna waste a table for peopleordering a couple of drinks and playing board games. Anyways, he was kinda apologetic: he said ?i know it?s a little bit ourfault too?. Well it?s definitely our fault that we came to your salon de jeux. He talked in a nice tone regardless, unlike thewaitress who wasn?t nice to us from the moment we said we wanted to play board games. Won?t go there ever again. There areplenty of places where you can eat (without a minimum), and places where you can play board games. Read more
