It was OK, could have been better.
We found hair in two of our items and we were charged full price for 3 fried cheese cake balls. The food was surprisingly... expensive and while the grilled cheeses were good (hair not withstanding) everything else was not particularly good. We willnot be ordering from this place again. Read more
Mac and cheese was good, lots of flavour in the cheese sauce, creamy and different from other places. I get the green peas for... its idea of texture, they are cooked to be firm and add a dimension but it does nothing for taste. I personnaly prefer a realcrunch from either bread crumbs or other starch. Overall enjoyed it. If you want a mac and cheese different from most places,worth a try. Read more
So when I walked in the shop , there was 2 blond guys , both with hats. The smaller guy took my order respectfully and the... taller one cooked it. Food was great but quite salty I might add . The soup is heaven sent thought. I also tried the grilledcheese and it was really good. The Tall blonde is quite a good cook and the smaller one a good receptionist. Problems on top of problems I don't even know where to begin. The staff is the slowest moving restaurant staff I've ever seen I... felt like I was in the twilight zone. I don't understand how you stay employed moving at a snail's pace. It's apparent the onlyreason this place stays in business is because of the late night customers. Called in advance ordering Mac and cheese, batmangrilled cheese sandwich, and Philly cheese steak for pick-up. Was told it would take 15-20 minutes. When I got there after 30minutes the Mac and cheese and Philly cheesesteak were sitting in a bag and the batman had yet to be made. Paid as I waited, thebill was more than expected because I went on their own website to order and everything was outdated. I ended up paying 1-3$extra for every item. Waited another 15 minutes for the grilled cheese sandwich to be made. Everything was cold when I finallyate it and I had to microwave everything which defeats the purpose of paying 40$ for food. The Philly cheesesteak was soggy, theavocado in the batman was brown, despite having a wall of spices in the kitchen the Mac and cheese was flavorless anddisappointing. Oh and the hair in the Mac and cheese was the cherry on top. Overall 0/10, would not recommend. Read more
