I understand inflation but this place was x3: $29 for olives, pickled onions, 4 thin slices of cheese and about 8 thin slices a... dry sausage (Super not worth it!), $5 for extra cheese, 50 cents for water down Dijon (uneaten ketchup should've been thereplacement), we both got the mtl à table $45.02 each (still hungry and not worth or taste). I went here for lunch today and left pretty disappointed. I ordered the medium poutine and the ramen bowl with braised pork. The... poutine was ok at best, I thought the sauce was way too watery and not at all enough. I ordered a medium and it was theequivalent to a small everywhere else and was so little for $12. The ramen was straight up bad. The noodles were clumped intoone tasteless and undercooked mass. The broth was sour and way too salty. The pork, despite being advertised as braised, wasjust pork belly that was scorched. Also, for $19 it was easily half the size of any ramen bowl elsewhere in the city. I don'tknow who came up with these portions and prices. Service was friendly but it took way too long for us to be served (the placewas empty) and none of us got any water throughout the meal. Sometimes we don't like the food but can admit that it just wasn'tto our taste. Rarely, we can say that a place was objectively bad. Unfortunately, this place was closer to the latter. Really nice pub with friendly staff and excellent food and drinks. The veggie burger was honestly to die for. Highly recommend!
I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this place by chance. The food was stellar (the Banh Mi Poutine is such a unique, yet... perfect idea that is the perfect balance of sour, spicy, moorish goodness) and the beer selection was also fantastic (even if Ihad a rose cider). The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming breaking down any question we had. I'd go back in a heartbeatthe next time I'm in Montreal. Read more
Very nice and clean place with a nice concept #zerodéchet. Friendly staff and nice beers.
Had the MTL à Table Table hôte special and it was really good :). The loukoumade however had zero flavour. The batter could be... altered with some milk or sugar so that it tastes something. Apart from that, very good food. Read more
