We had a great time at the restaurant, where the food was very good and we got to discover new dishes. The ambiance is good (a... bit loud), but it would be nice to see the chef prepare the food. Also, it would be nice to have eaten with real woodenchopstick, instead of disposable one, to match the quality of the food. Read more

My favorite sushi place in Montreal. The service was great, and they had great recommendations for sake pairing. We were a group... of 8 so we had the private room with Omakase and it was soooo delicious! I truly recommend. They also have nice cocktail optionswith yuzu. Read more

This might be the best sushi spot in Montreal, we were a party of 4 and went with high expectations, the dinner service was... chosen and catered by our waiter, we had about 15 pieces each and a mix of sashimi and maki, overall every piece we had wasbeefy good with quality ingredients. The sashimi was out of this world, specifically the salmon, Tuna and Mackerel. We alsopaired our supper with some martinis and of course some sake. Food wise everyone was satisfied. When it came to the overallservice, they were very attentive and asked us a few times how everything was going, staff are very nice and knowledgeable. Theatmosphere and vibe of the restaurant is nice as well, not a very big spot but you don?t feel cramped when eating. Would highlyrecommend checking out if you are a sushi fan and looking for a nice spot to eat, and catch up with friends. Will definitely becoming back. With all the food we ordered, it came to about 180 a person tax and tip included. For a similar portion andquality, elsewhere like park or Nobu, you?d be paying 2 to 3 times more. Read more

Jun I is incredible. If you want to fully appreciate the talent of the chef I cannot recommend the omakase menu enough. The... incredible blend of flavours presented in unique ways with the appetizers finishing with a large serving of excellent sushirolls, sashimi and nigri. Read more

Jun I is definitely at the top of the sushi food chain in Montreal alongside Park. They are creative with their rolls but not at... the expense of the quality of the ingredients. They respect their fish and serve you top quality, fresh pieces. I booked a weekago because I was craving some uni and this is one of the only places in town that I would trust to serve me fresh ones. Arrivedthere and was told it's unavailable tonight. Annoying? No, reassuring. I was told the toro is good today. It wasmelt-in-your-mouth awesome! If you've been eating sushi at our favorite local shop, do yourself a favour and go eat here. Read more

Superb fish. Probably sushi I have ever had. I?m originally from Vancouver and currently living in Toronto. The spicy hamachi... was our favorite of the night. The only thing was that they gave us wooden take out chopsticks and I would?ve preferredsomething a little nicer to match the rest of the vibe. Great waiters and staff who are trained well and have good knowledge ofthe fish. However this could be just because of COVID so it?s not a big deal and I will definitely be coming back. Read more
