I was craving Nashville hot chicken so this place seemed like the right spot. I tried a blue cheese and a honey friend chicken... sandwich and it was both very tasty and worth the price tag. I was hesitant about the blue cheese, but it was complemented verywell with the other flavour and the chicken was crispy and just right. I wish they had an English menu available. Read more
Had the jack sandwich and poutine - very little actual chicken in the sandwich, it's mostly the fried crust that you get - the... chicken is very dry and they try to hide that by putting a ton of mayo/sauce in the sandwich - the bread was good and thepickles were good - the fries were very soft, not crispy at all -the employees were great and very friendly This place is ratedtoo highly. Expected better considering their prices. You expect better food than a fast food chain when you go to this type ofrestaurant and this is unfortunately not the case. Read more
Good place to eat, the chicken and fries are good, I made the mistake to take the spicy sauce and a wasn?t able to finish!
I tried it for the first time today. I believe it's better if you eat it on the spot rather than having it delivered. The... chicken was tasty and crunchy, but the fries were a bit off (mainly because of the delivery I believe). Other than that, greatfiller. Read more
This is some seriously delicious fried chicken. Very juicy, amazing BBQ dipping sauce, great fries and coleslaw. The branding is... great with a 50s dinner style and the cow pleading us to eat chicken... Will definitely go again! Read more
The first time I ate here it was good. The second time I came here I ordered the Jack sandwich and it was not so good because... the lettuce was beyond wilted (see photo). I would come back again because it may have just been a off day and I enjoyed myfirst visit here. I'll check my order before I walk away though. Edit. What a great chicken joint in the Mile End! We stumbled on it and I guess they haven't been open for long. This location has had... a revolving door for restaurants over the last several years but I'm pretty confident Jack Le Coq will be around for a while. Iordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich with coleslaw, and my husband ordered the Chicken BLT with fries. Everything was A+++. Iread another review that the Buffalo Chicken sandwich wasn't as described, but I thought it was delicious. I do agree there wasno Frank's Red Hot and the blue cheese didn't hit me in the face, but it didn't matter. The BLT sandwich was as good as itlooks. Loved the coleslaw! You can tell it's homemade. And the fries were dollar fries, which I haven't had in a longtime. All in all, a combo is the same price McD's trio so might as well spend the money on a meal that tastes better andactually fills you up. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area. Read more
I made a big take out order and got the bag closed. The chicken was good, but when I opened the bag at home the poutines had... melted sliced cheese or no cheese at all and not the usual wavy fries. It was a very :( sad moment Read more
