I would rate this experience 5 stars, but our server was so lacking that it took us halfway through out course to even get our... drinks (had to ask someone else), left us alone without knowing that we were at our last course (had to end up pulling someoneelse again). He wasn't rude or anything, I just thought it was odd that people that sat AFTER us was getting way more attentionand getting faster service than we were. If I could relive the moment of being at Ibericos, i would come here every time. The ambiance was great, the food was delicious,... and price point fair. We took the sharing menu and I was more than enough for 4 people. So better come here hungry! Simply beautiful ! The food is fresh and you can taste the quality. The menu is simple yet complete. The restaurant is well... decorated and the atmosphere is perfect for a date night or a birthday with lots of people. Good wine. The staff wasaccommodating with my allergies (nuts and peanuts) and everything went really well. Great service. I'm giving a 2.5 for my overall experience. The oxtail croquettes was delicious and set the night on a high note. Then, it was... followed by the anchovies with the bread which was very good too. Then, things toned down a bit. The octopus was way too saltyand so was the pea puree while the cucumber salad was bland which I was thankful for. It helped balance it out a little.Finally, we had two kinds of paella. The seafood one was too salty once again and for 25$ per person (you're obligated to taketwo portions so a minimum of 50$) I was expecting a bit more seafood than only two shrimps, two mini pieces of fish and fourmini mussels. There's only a very thin layer of rice. As for the rabbit paella, it was less salty and I enjoyed it a bit more.However, it is not a rabbit and chicken paella but a chicken, green beans and finally rabbit paella. You would expect the rabbitbeing the highlight since it's the first item named in the menu but I only received two little pieces of rabbit legs. The itemson the menu was expensive even if it is a tapas restaurant. Read more
