I hadn't been to Frites Alors and I had fond memories of their merguez sausages and horse tartare. (I think they took the... taratre off the menu. Too bad. So I went for their eponymous Grilled Cheese with fries their harrisa mayo and a Marco GingerAle. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the cheese gooey perfection. It's got a diner feel with a real québécois spin. I'llbe back. Read more

I don?t recommend this place, 15$ for a medium poutine with sausage is really expensive and it wasn?t that good. Plus the music... is really loud. The staff is okey. I recommend to go to Poutineville, it?s way better and cheaper and the portions are bigger Read more

i have tried many fast food places in montreal, my boyfriend and i spent 55$ for 2 combos and a poutine when really i just... wanted 1 combo with the other items separate. we both had the same opinion while eating the fries and the meal which was thatthe food has no flavour and the fries that are supposed to be fantastic, are in reality nothing crazy. we will not be returningbecause for 55$ i can eat literally mcdonalds and it would be better then having the taste of dirt in my mouth. What to say. Some days you hit up your friends too see what they are up to. Supper in the park with some drinks! Poutine is the... answer to what we should eat. With a quick phone call and a large Vlad, taco and tunesienne I was on my way to pick upsupper. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious! The conversations were great. We saw a dog slip from his harness andchase a girl. No one was injured! Read more

Great hamburgers and the best fries in town! Don't miss the many options of flavored mayo. I'm a more traditional ketchup with... fries guy, but their mayo is something special. Read more

Stopped in for a burger early Saturday evening. It was such a blast. All the employees were super nice and informative. Each of... them (3) stopped over to see how I liked the meal. The burger and fries were deliscious! They let me try most of the sauces. Iended up loving the curry mayo best, one I would have never chosen myself. I'm headed back in a day or two to try their poutine.I highly recommend Frite Alors on Laurier and the entire street is a joy. Read more
