This is a private restaurant of molecular gastronomy. The food was very good and tasty, but the portions were definitely too... small for me, not enough for the price. Also, there was no bread with the meal (the restaurant just didn't have any), which Iconsider to be unacceptable. The cocktails were showoff (served with smoke) but tasted more sugar than alcool. All in all, youpay for the show but you don't get your money's worth, in my opinion. Read more
We needed to book a cool trendy and unique place for our event and im so glad we chose Fibo Resto Loft! They have fantastic... drinks and great food! So tasty and well presented! Excellent service and friendly staff. The interior was beautiful, and the overall experience was pretty fun. The food however is... not very good. Nothing I was served was fresh, and I am pretty sure the snails I ate came from a can. My partner got the Salmonand it was served to him luke warm and it was tasteless. I think this place has a lot of potential, but they either need tolower the price, or invest in better food (or maybe a better chef). With a groupon, 2 drinks and a tip, we paid $134 in total.And based on the quality of the food and the taste, its really not worth it. Read more
It is stuffed in a corner of an old port loft. The servers don't know the food they are selling, the chef doesn't really know... what Fibo food is. I would not recommend this place, spend you money on so many other great restos around the old port. Read more
Very strange experience. I don't know why the restaurant offers groupons if they are so obviously unhappy when people with... vouchers show up. We had been walking behind a couple smoking a joint as we made our way to the resto from the metro. First, wewaited 5 minutes before being seated in quite an empty restaurant. Then, it took about 20 minutes for the waiter to bring uswater and answer our questions. It was very frustrating sitting there, watching him walk by us and tending to people that hadshown up approx. 10 minutes after us before serving us. The waiter really tried pushing drinks on us (several times, and we saidno thanks more than once), only for him to say, "so, just the pot, then?". It took me a few minutes to understand what he hadmeant by this comment. By this point, I was extremely anxious and uncomfortable. The music was extremely loud electronic/technomusic, which did not create a calming or comfortable ambiance. This, combined with the neglect and sense of the waiter being asalesman as he continuously tried to push us to buy drinks made the experience quite negative. The food was alright. Overpricedfor what we paid (which was about half off from the regular prices). The food was also almost cold by the time it got to us. Wegot the bill and had to pay the taxes and well as tip, and the tip had already been included in the price. I am uncertain ifthey do this to everyone, or if it was a move by the waiter to ensure a minimum 15% tip. He certainly did not deserve it. Ifeel as though my boyfriend and I were judged by the waiter upon arrival and were treated according to the prejudice of thewaiter. I suppose we did not fit the image of clientele they desired. Their actions ensured that we will never visit again. I donot often write reviews of restaurants, but my experience was so astoundingly anxiety-inducing that I would like to share itwith others, so that they do not experience the same thing. awesome experience - must have an open mind to new food, tastes, and textures! The bartender is a wizard who throws together... creative and delicious drinks - highly recommend getting the gin/ tonic with caviar or the caesar. Read more
It is really unlike any other restaurant. The food is something to experience. Lamb is amazingly tender and tasty, and confit... canard wings are for many the best they ever ate. Ambiance is warm and service is friendly and unpretentious, yet attentive. Read more
