Tried this restaurant during the MTL à table event. Pleasant evening, but the food was underwhelming. The best dish by far was... the grilled halloumi with the rghaief bread. The tajines were disappointing: the oyster mushrooms one had an overpowering prunesflavor, the chicken one was quite bland and didn’t feel like it was slow-cooked. The rest of the food was ok, but notmemorable. The fig margarita was pretty nice. It gets very loud when the restaurant is full (+loud music), conversations aresometimes difficult to carry. Service was courteous and attentive. Read more

An amazing experience, the place is quiet and cute and the service was 10/10. Tried 5 plates and they were all amazing and... interestingly complex. The cocktails are also great, I recommend the figues margarita and the pistachio/rose gin. Willdefinitely come back and recommend to all my friends. Thank you for the great experience Read more

Nice mostly vegetarian casual lebanese inspired spot serving tapas. We Loved their aubergine lamb kufta and grilled hallumi.

Decided to try Darna Bistroquet with a friend that lives in town. The menu is small; 10 tapa style dishes and two desserts.... They also offer a $58.00/person discovery menu (4 services). Our waitress informed us that each service gets you 2-3 dishes. -Pain rghaief ($3.00) - Aubergine grillée ($17.00) - amazing! Eggplant excellently grilled and the purée underneath was theperfect compliment. - Bourgots grillées ($17.00) - whelks are rare to find. Delicious with a great bite. - Tajine pleurotes($18.00) - oyster mushrooms had a firm, bouncy texture. - Haricots jaunes ($15.00) - Poulet cornouaille ($19.00) - cornish henwas tender but mild in seasoning. I'd come back again to DB. 4.5 stars. Read more

We met up with a friend in town to try out Darna Bistroquet, which specializes in Moroccan. More like French influenced Moroccan... food. It’s a small, tight menu. Between the three of us, we shared two pain rghaief ($3.00 each), aubergine grillée($17.00), bourgots grillées ($17.00), tajine pleurotes ($18.00), haricots jaunes ($15.00) and poulet cornouaille ($19.00).Portion sizes were better than expected. Great flavours. My favourite dishes were the grilled eggplant (perfectly grilled) andoyster mushrooms (very buttery). Would definitely come back to Darna. 4.5 stars. Read more

Great food and service. Flavours are bright, fresh, and menu has lots of variety to share. Stand-outs: kefta, gnocchi, fried... halloumi and fried caluflower. The bread and dip are fantastic. Deserts and cocktails are also very good. Will return for sure. Read more

The decor is nice and cozy and the staff is remarkable. Make sure to try their deliciouscocktails. As for the food, they are medium size plates so great for sharing . And you will want to share as many as possibleas every dish burst with fantastic flavors. It's really delicious. Read more
