We went on a Wednesday morning when it opened at 10am, which helped to avoid the long lines on the weekend as we got seated... right away. The chicken sandwich was probably the best I?ve had; crispy on the outside without too much batter, and the chickenitself was juicy and delicious. The pasta was an unexpected option for brunch, but was wonderful as well, with a good portionsize and a perfect mix of flavours and textures. We did not try any of the dishes on the sweet end of the spectrum other thanthe maple tart, which was okay in comparison to the amazing savoury selections we had. I would definitely come back in thefuture, and maybe look into trying their ricotta pancakes next time for something different. Read more
Dandy was recommended and when I found out it was within walking distance of my hotel?I made a point to go for Sunday Brunch. I... was warned about the line. It took about 35-40 minutes from time I arrived in line to being seated. It was worth the wait IMO.I was seated in a very comfortable table for 1. Server was kind and didn?t make me feel rushed. I ordered a Dandy Martini,Mushroom Toast and Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich with a Butter Maple Tart and Peanut Butter Cup Cookie to go. Martini was goodbut the olives that came with it felt frozen. Mushroom Toast was absolutely delicious and I recommend to any mushroomlover. Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich was absolutely delicious as well?the combination of all the flavors from the chicken, thehomemade slaw and sauce all on a homemade brioche bun had my taste buds singing. Absolutely delicious! First time visiting this restaurant, we arrived around 10am and had to wait about half an hour to be... seated. The atmosphere and decorations were amazing, only thing to note was some spiderwebs along the window - but super cleanwithin the restaurant. Server was super attentive and quick with our food, but giving us enough space to enjoy our meal. Foodwas delicious! Highly recommend the mushroom toast, and the side of fries. Not the best brunch I have ever had - the service was average, and we were given a table for 4, while we were 5 people. So the... seating wasn?t comfortable and narrow (although we had to wait over an hour). I am giving 4 stars because the fried chickenburger was amazing and the pancakes were so good! Friendly service. Nice terrace, retro look inside. My fried chicken was great, but I think it should include some fries. My wife... and my daughter had the Endless summer breakfast , they enjoyed it.
