Authentic Korean bbq in downtown! We came for a late lunch & ordered a beef part each, boneless short rib & rib eye, which were... very filling for us, especially with the delicious side dishes. The waiter was also really nice, friendly, and attentive. Read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Daldongnae BBQ! The first thing I took note of is the atmosphere,I loved that the place... was dimly lit and that there were little artifacts that added to the experience.I enjoyed the KOrean music the played and foundmyself shazming in between my meal!The Staff was kind,and catered to our needs but I feel like they could've been a little moreattentive because we found ourselves Sometimes calling them more than a few time to help us.The food was amazing,I loved theconcept of having one type of meat and MULTIPLE sides,I liked all the sides but the highlights were the glass noodles,the sweetpotatoe and the zooch(zucchini).I do feel like the meat might have been better had there been more seasoning or marinade. Iwould say Daldongnae is a great KBBQ to go to with a group of friends,you could spend hours and hours here and I am definitelycoming back.I would recommend investing! Read more

This was my first Korean BBQ and the experience was quite pleasant. The 9 free and unlimited sides really stepped up the game... and made it even more enjoyable. Some of my favorite sides were the corn, kimchi, onions, bean sprouts and glass noodles. Thechuck and tenderloin beef cut were really tender and juicy but I wish the quantity was slightly more. Trying to fold everythingor alot of the toppings in the lettuce wrap leave your table quite messy, I wish the staff was more prepared for this and gavesome small plates to avoid that. Overall the ambience was quite good and so was the food, if there's one thing that was anissue was the inattentiveness of some of the servers, I hope that can be worked on. For us, this is the best korean bbq in Montreal. They have excellent quality if meat. The sauce and the side dishes also... outstanding. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. And.. it open till 2 am which is very rare to find here! This isjust perfect place to hang out at night, and they also has great vibe for it! Read more
