Reviews for Da Enrico Pizzeria in Montréal, QC
The chef has the worst attitude. There's a cost for sharing a plate. To add to that the chef has the audacity to tell us you... can't come in and use my cutlery and my plates and share a meal and not pay for it. Ridiculous! Read more
We reserved as a group @$40+$6tip per person! We were 25 ! We got a leafy salad 6 meatballs per table of 6, 2 pizzas with... almost no cheese and with 6 pieces of sausage on it and 2 pasta bowls one with watery rose pene the other red sauce! Cafeteriataste beyond disappointing! A TOTAL RIP OFF!!! I understand times are hard but restaurants have had a bad period but this wasinsulting! We were celebrating a birthday and were totally embarrassed with the quality and service!!!! The owner and one waiterwere serving! When we asked for more pizza they said they were out of dough!! What an evening! If you?re looking for authentic, look no further. The menu offers no frills, but rather the best of mamma?s... cuisine could offer. A family owned business with top quality staff & service. We tasted much of what was offered, andeverything was simply delicious! Ask for the spicy oil too. And make sure you leave room for the awesome Tiramisu paired with aperfect short espresso. Will definitely return! Read more
Truly the worst restaurant I have ever been to. We went after Italy won the Euro Cup and they had been packed an hour or so... before so I understand the food taking a little extra time, however, we waited for over 40 minutes and had to ask to be givenbread and water. The bread was incredibly stale with low quality butter which should have been an indicator but at that point wewere too tired and hungry to go someplace else. What followed was worse than anyone could have imagined. We ordered two pizzas, two pastas, and a salad. Every single dish was inundated with the cheapest, lowest quality, most bottom of the barrel parmesancheese i have ever had the misfortune of tasting. I cannot stress enough how disgusting this cheese was, it was an affront tothe entire european continent. The pizzas were doughier than Jonah Hill in Superbad. The ham in my carbonara was old and toughand my friend's pasta took much longer than everyone else's. The tomato sauce was sweet and unpleasant, not unlike cough syrup. The lettuce in the caesar salad was cheap iceberg, with no anchovies to be found, and again drenched in that dreadfulabomination of a cheese which even a dorito would turn its nose at. All of this would have been semi-bearable if the pricesreflected the quality, but astoundingly the owners charge nearly twenty dollars for just a single pizza! C'etait tellementhorrible et je vais jamais retourner. Read more
The photo speaks for itself. My boyfriend and I waited 40 minutes for this "pizza". They let you sit and wait at the tables in... the back of the restaurant and the cook in the back was repeatedly swearing frustratedly. Go figure. Don't come here. I'd say"you get what you pay for", but frankly, this pizza isn't even worth $2. I'll take my money and my 40 minutes elsewhere. Read more
Great family restaurant. Brother is the chef. Sister is the waitress. Dad is Alcapone. Mother is the Patrona. You might hear... some yelling between family members but this is what makes it a good experience, very authentic italian family style as if youare eating in your parents house. Bring your own wine and dont get hung up on the details, simply enjoy the amazing food. Read more
Went here on kind of a whim with a friend, figuring the place looks like it's been there for ages do they must be doing... something right. Got a rose penne and a sausage pizza Food was excellent and came really quickly. This was.maybe the best pizzacrust I've had in ages! Service was very fast in spite of the entire staff seeming to consist of a single Italian man, but hewas great! Read more
