Great atmosphere and great music. Unfortunately that's the only thing positive to say about BarBara. The focaccia is made... in-house and was tasteless. Read more

This place is always buzzing every time I walk past by, so I decided to give it a try. Cons: Salty, expensive, food quantity,... okay service and flies/insects everywhere on the bread they serve. Pros: still pondering about it. I hate to give bad reviewson a restaurant; however, everyone is spending their hard-earned money at the end of the day. So better be transparent on thereviews. The food was delicious, but the service was quite slow and less attentive because they prioritized the terrace. There were so... many servers and all of them were basically always outside. We went for lunch/brunch on a Saturday. There was no need to waitand we immediately got a place inside just next to the window. There, the tables are quite small and can maximum welcome threepersons. The waitress only gave us one menu for three, not a very good start. After we ordered a pistachio latte and a normallatte, we had to chase after our waitress to order. All their attention was on the terrace. The lattes were given in glassesthat weren't made for lattes/coffee. They don't keep the warmth of the drinks as long, so our drinks got cold in minutes. Afterwe finally got our orders in, our knives were dirty. Fortunately, the food quickly arrived. The big salad Cesar was good andcreamy. Their small pasta was a small portion but delicious. I think the pasta was made fresh and was cooled al dente. Thefocaccia was fluffy and soft and full of toppings. Overall, the food was tasty and the prices aren't overpriced. I liked thehalf portion sizes. The service, however, was the biggest disappointment. Read more

My friend and I stopped here by chance on a busy Monday for lunch time and their outdoor terrace was what attracted us to sit... down for a meal. The staff was very friendly and the food was quite delicious. The appetizers were tasty (not shown in photos, but we ordered focaccia, burrata, prosciutto) & the cocktails were good too, so the overall experience was enjoyable.Unfortunately, one out of two pasta dishes was undercooked (too hard to chew) but the other one was a true al dente cooked toperfection. For the price we paid (around $58 per person, tax and tips included), we were expecting flawless pasta dishes toblow us away, but in our case, the appetizers stole the spotlight. I would personally give here another chance sometime in thefuture due to the overall pleasant experience. Read more

Full of amorous feeling of Italian restaurant. A great handmade pasta. Order seafood pasta with original taste, not white sauce.... only simple and plain olive oil with some seafood soup , never overpowering, very appetizing. Read more

This is the ?new? hotspot in St Henri! My friend and I went on a Wednesday night just after 7pm and it was super packed with a... lineup. They were so nice and allowed us to wait behind the bar near the espresso machine. The bartender Chloe took really goodcare of us. We were able to have wine, fried olives and their homemade focaccia (delicious!) to tide us over. We waited justabout an hour and sat at a communal table (no dividers). What I loved is they offer half portions at very reasonable prices fortheir homemade pasta. I had the creamy pesto and it was amazing. We also shared a roquette salad which I found lacked flavourand was quite bitter but my friend enjoyed it. We also shared the tiramisu which was excellent. Good vibes and food all around! Read more

I went to this establishment on Saturday shortly after noon for lunch. I hadn't been to this restaurant before but saw it when I... was walking down the street and decided to give it a try. My goodness, the food and service was incredible! I ordered Focacciaand Parmesan Fries to start, and it was absolutely delicious! So much cheese, and the fries were so crispy! I didn't expect toget such a large portion for an appetizer but I wasn't complaining at all. For lunch I had the Casarecce Cacio e Pepe, whichwas incredible. It wasn't traditionally made (which is typically dryer), but I think this was better! So rich and creamy - andthe noodle choice was perfect. I want to say that my server - I think his name was Kevin? Was one of the best servers I've hadin any restaurant. 10/10 - would go again. Read more
