This is a lovely, bright and spacious breakfast joint. It's in a great location by Square Victoria and the menu has everything... you could want. We had wonderful service from Isabelle, who allowed me to practice my French while serving my wife in English.She was super friendly and gave us the best service we've had here during our stay. The concierge in the hotel we were staying in recommended this place. We went there a little after lunch, and was greeted by a... long line-up of hungry tourists. Fortunately, we packed patience on our vacation. After a 45-minute wait, we finally got atable and ordered two Spécial Alló mon Coco, banana split milk shake, and a large glass of orange juice from freshly squeezedoranges. They were worth the wait. The food was good as always but we couldn't enjoy it because of the bugs, it was very disgusting and disappointing. The waitress... was very sweet and nice but she was alone apparently so it took forever to get what we wanted (if we even got it), there wasnothing she could do as she had to serve the whole restaurant alone. We came here for breakfast while on vacation and it did not disappoint! The grilled cheese sandwiches were delicious as were the... smashed potatoes (not to be confused with mashed potatoes). We tried the Philly Steak Grilled Cheese and the Scrambled Egggrilled cheese. The bread was super soft yet had a crunch to it. The potatoes were seasoned well. Read more
With a full confidence, I can say that you will not stay hungry. This is a cool place for a delicious breakfast in which salty... and sweet are easily considered. The main breakfast base is eggs, bacon, potatoes. This goes with a pancakes, crepe, or fruitby your choice. Big portions, clean place, friendly team. Read more
Had a great brunch here early December '21. Their location is convenient and easy to find. Enough of a variety in the menu... without being overwhelming. High quality ingredients and good coffee. The service is top and the restaurant was immaculate. Read more
Came by around 2pm on a Sunday and the place was a little busy. The portions are absolutely huge here. My partner and I couldn't... finish either of our meals and had to take home the rest! Everything tasted great though and the atmosphere was really brightand open. Only thing that causes this -1 star is the service. The waitress in charge of our table only came to take our order,but she disappeared for the rest of the time. We had to flag down other employees to service us (get a takeout box, get a bagfor the takeout box, get the bill). I think they might be strict on dividing up tables amongst the team, because when we askedanother waiter for the bill, they specifically asked us who our waiter was.
