Service was outstanding. Atmosphere was great. Got seated right away and served quickly. Had the LST Poutine. It was good but I... have to say, after my first experience, I am not a big fan of pork belly. The cheese curds and fries were great. And if you likepork belly, you would probably like this offering. We also had the Prime Rob Bulky sandwich with onion rings. It was great. Theribs were hot, fresh, and tasty. The ribs sandwich was huge and delicious. I also had a margarita on the rocks with salt thatwas done right. All in all a very good meal. I am stuffed and satisfied. Read more

Classic old pub, comfy and casual. Scarred dark-wood bar on the right and booths along the left, and - thank God - air... conditioning! Great service even though it was mostly full for Sunday brunch. And, amazingly, the food was just excellent.Especially the lobster rolls - in Vermont? - yes, in Vermont. We spent a week in Newport eating lobster rolls every day andthese were as good as anything we had at that seafront mecca. Completely packed with fresh lobster, a perfectly selected andtoasted bun, just the right mayo with herbs and spices. Outstanding! Not to be outdone, the fried potato cakes were delicious aswell, and our companion loved his bacon and pancakes. So why only four stars? The owners felt the best way to keep the frontdoor from latching while they served the outdoor diners was to keep the deadbolt extended, so every time the waiter went in orout it the door would swing shut and the bolt would crash against the door frame. We were seated next to it and the the crashwould occur every 15-30 seconds, nonstop. And so easy to avoid - just unlock the deadbolt and put a piece of tape over thelatch. By the end everyone at our table agreed that if it weren't for the god%#$ door this would've been a perfect lunch. Stillpretty great though. Read more

Food was really good. Suggest the prime rib bulky sandwich. They have handout fries, my favorite with all sandwiches. Don't be... scared of the Brussel sprouts, they are very good. Chicken tenders are hand breaded and delicious. Only downside is some menuitems are for dinner only. Read more

We actually were looking for food and all restaurants were too busy so we were about to get back in our car and saw this place... at the last minute. We walked in and the table was dirty (waiter cleaned it up when we sat down) and we kind of thought yeahthis is a pub and the food isn't going to be good. Ordered breakfast and the price was around ten dollars per meal so again wethought yeah this isn't going to be good. Meal arrived and seriously it was absolutely amazing! Good quality amazingly fresh, iteven came with fruit on the side. Everyone kept saying how surprised it was, really really good food! Waitress came to us in theend and apologized for being so slow to bring us food - it took maybe 10 minutes so she didn't need to apologize at all. Outsideyou can see the golden top of the state house and this cool little bridge Read more

It?s open late, for Montpelier, and has a easy going vibe. The beer is cold, the music is easy, and the guys working here are... cool. The patrons are locals, who all seem to know each other, it?s a nice place. I had this wild rendition of Chicken andWaffles. If you?re a Chicken and Waffles connoisseur, check it out. Read more
