We needed a vegan birthday cake when we were in town and Grandma's Kitchen was highly recommended to us. The order process was... quick and easy. When we picked up the cake, it was gorgeous but unfortunately it didn't survive the drive. Casey was genuinelyapologetic (even though it wasn't her fault) and went above and beyond what anyone would expect to help save the day for us. Excellent quality vegan food worth the trip up to Montour Falls. The bakery items are especially good -- I haven't tried a... "meh" one yet, which is surprising actually! The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. Recently, there's been a pushtowards special events requiring buying tickets in advance. We just left the tea party and it was outstanding! The place was nicely decorated and name cards were made for each person. The... food was absolutely delicious and generously portioned! The picture is just sandwiches, scones, and sweets. There was also soup,salad, and of course tea! We had to bring a box home because we were stuffed with amazing goodies! Our family stopped here in the middle of a road trip. Such a gem?and a wonderful surprise in a small town! Really sweet vibe and... delicious food. Had some yummy baked goods (our toddler was a big fan of the cake pop!) and a dinner to go that included areally good mac and cheese. I would recommend it to my non-vegetarian/vegan friends as well. The menu is relatively limited and items seem to sell out quickly, but that's what makes places like Grandma's Kitchen so... intimate and experiential, especially compared to industry chains that put no real Love into their offerings. My breakfastcasserole was delicious, and the potatoes and sausage patties were prepared perfectly. I got an assortment of treats to-go, andso far they have all been decadent and bursting with flavor. I unfortunately live in Indiana and was just passing through thearea, but I would DEFINITELY be a regular here if I were local! Read more

I can't say enough great things about the quality of food - DELICIOUS!! - and how thoughtful and kind the owner is. I was... vacationing nearby over Mother's Day weekend and having a hard time finding many vegan food options. Even though I hadn'treserved the special Mothers Day meal in time, the owner was kind enough to see that I got one. And EVERYTHING in it was sooootasty and delicious. Fantastic experience here!!! Great atmosphere, wonderful owners, super generous helpings and delicious food and sweet treats! I am not a vegan but i could... easily enjoy their food everyday! They have a community board where other customers can leave a gift for another customer and ithas been a wonderful idea that my son and I enjoy using . thank you guys for coming to the montour falls area. Part of me wonders if I'm being too hasty to leave this review since they just opened, but I can't not talk about this Breakfast... Casserole. It was so freaking delicious and left me wanting more. I'm excited for an all-vegan spot in the area and even more sonow that I know this egg-cheese-sausage casserole is just around the corner. It came with some deliciously seasoned hash-brownsand a mixed greens/arugula salad. I also tried the banana nut muffin and it is exactly what you're looking for if you're a fanof anything banana bread related. I got mine to-go, but I saw others enjoying the casserole at one of the tables inside. Theytoo boasted how delicious it was as I was placing my order. Can't wait to try more! Read more
